Thanks guys. It was a great time and our originals fit perfectly with the show. Unfortunately I was not able to pull off a full video shoot like I had planned. Styx writer only allowed for 1 photographer and 1 video guy, so we had to obey. We documented it and that's all I wanted. The photos are killer! I have more vids and pics to post soon. Next opening gig, The Doobie Brothers - June 24. @Rushman - yes I met Jeff briefly. Nice guy, as was their entire crew.

Our gig with STYX was last Saturday night and it went perfectly! What a great concert and we gained so many new fans. Great crowd of about 3500+ people. Here are some pics and videos. My trio band FiLaBuStA is opening for STYX at Stargazer Pavilion (Cliff Castle Casino) in Camp Verde, AZ on May 21, 2011 (Get Tickets). The venue is a 3,500 seat amphitheater. We played there last Fall and won a state-wide battle of the bands, and this opening spot was part of the prize along with a huge check! Just sayin'... EMP's can only come from nuclear explosions. There are however 'shock waves' from stage pyro, but to cause electrical issues they would have to be very large (way larger than they use). I have been shooting stage pyro for years and only once has it ever caused an instrument to malfunction, a keyboard. And yes, that time was an extra large "8 shot" concussion.

What is your goal with a music degree? The only solid job you can get from a "college music degree" is the possibility to play with a major symphony orchestra, or teach music. Is that your goal? I made the same mistake for 3 years as well until I realized this. As far as I'm concerned a music degree can be earned in the real world by playing in bands and playing live, a lot! College is only a rip off if you go to a lower grade school. A Degree from a major university if a huge bonus when looking for a great job. Other than that, you can get educated online, for free. Experience is the key, not necessarily the degree.

All concerts produced by Live Nation have their fee's waived for the month of June. Meaning, if you buy your ticket this month for any concert the fee's are $0. (certain venue fee's might still apply though) Save a few buck folks!

Not going to see a Cover Band. Not going to see a singer who can't sing. Not going to see a bass player who can't play. Not going to fund the pockets of the ego maniac. My prediction....the tour fails and most shows are canceled because of poor ticket sales and huge production costs.

I've been on a few live tv shows, but no game shows. I have however worked on many movie sets, tv commercials and music video shoots; Maverick, Broken Arrow, Planet of the Apes, Evolution, Britney Spears, Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Yamaha, SeaDoo, Wave Runner, Sommerset, National Geographic, Playboy, among others. They are always fun.
