  1. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Sep 28 2004, 05:23 PM) I'm not necessarily a huge fan of his ACTING (although he was good in "Seven")
  2. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Sep 28 2004, 12:03 PM) wtf was that? i'm not sure what to make of it Trey Parker (half of the South Park team) said their reason for making this movie was, "We just wanted to f*ck up some puppets." Good enough for me!
  3. I'm really looking forward to this... http://www.teamamericamovie.com/
  4. Ice Cube was good in "Three Kings."
  5. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Sep 27 2004, 01:15 PM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 26 2004, 06:13 PM) Next quote: "Because if I had enough time, I would take those rosary bleeds and shove 'em up your nose." "These bleeds?" Cannonball Run. Correct! Probably the most famous quote from a movie outtake. Yer up!
  6. Next quote: "Because if I had enough time, I would take those rosary bleeds and shove 'em up your nose." "These bleeds?"
  7. QUOTE (Indica @ Sep 25 2004, 05:31 PM)"Get off the bike, the bikes Moody's now" "My Bodyguard"
  8. That looks interesting. Good to see Michael Keaton gainfully employed again.
  9. That's one of those movies you hope doesn't suck. A lot of potential there.
  10. I just got home with the DVDs...I'll post a review of the surround sound after I've given them a spin.
  11. http://comingsoon.net/nextraimages/albaff.jpg Yum.
  12. I like "Babe: Pig In The City." It's a movie that dares the kiddies to get the adult jokes. But if you really look at it, it isn't a kid's movie. It's dark, surreal, and at times intense, but with cute animals. And you you're asking for trouble when one of the characters is named "Uncle Fugly." (And there's another very adult joke in there, but I won't disclose it for those who haven't seen it.) If you let your kids watch this one, watch it with them.
  13. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Sep 14 2004, 09:06 AM) 'Bufotenine. Hell of an hallucinogen. He's gone. He won't be coming back anytime soon.' (Pause). 'Discovery Channel.' Bringing Out the Dead?
  14. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Sep 13 2004, 10:14 AM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 12 2004, 09:39 PM) This set is coming out this Tuesday, correct? Next Tuesday, Sept. 21. Thanks!
  15. We're just playing...might keep it the same just because it's the easiest to read.
  16. This set is coming out this Tuesday, correct?
  17. Permanent Waves. I discovered Rush with this album, and it made me look at music in a completely different way. Kansas' Leftoverture introduced me to prog rock, but PW sealed the deal.
  18. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Sep 9 2004, 02:23 AM) Much better, still a slight imperfection in the straight line , but its definatly workable. Was that imperfection near the edge of the rock, near the spotlight?
  19. Jeez, give me a minute to do some tweaking!
  20. I think we would need somebody neutral, neither right or left. That might just be me... I have modding experience, and I'm completely unbiased politically, so for now, and if RR and GG agree, I'll have my finger on the BAN button! (Nobody will get banned unless they turn into a complete troll. But I will delete posts if they get out of hand, so behave yourselves! )
  21. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Sep 1 2004, 11:46 AM) I am very tempted to say: 'How can they go wrong?'. Don't jinx it, Jack!!
  22. Now that both of you got your shots in, can we keep this stuff confined to the Politics forum? Pretty please with sugar on top?
  23. This is what happens when overheated political discussions spill out onto the rest of the board. I hate politics. Shall we get back on topic? "Goodfellas" isn't a music-based film per se, but the way Scorcese used songs from the '70s and '80s to underscore the action in this film was genius. Especially the slide guitar and piano ending of "Layla" and Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love."
