  1. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Oct 1 2004, 09:23 AM) Every time some hotshot new British actor comes along, everybody starts saying he's the next Bond. They've said the same thing about Eric Bana and Hugh Jackman. Christian Bale's name was mentioned too, I think.
  2. That franchise has run it course, unless the Broccolis can keep their noses out of things and let real directors guide the filmmaking process.
  3. QUOTE (madra sneachta @ Sep 30 2004, 09:41 AM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 30 2004, 03:37 AM) How 'bout a quote, madra? Jack got my "Oh brother wehere art thou?" one, so he's up next!! DUH!!! My mistake. Sorry!
  4. That quote was bordeline. With so many other good lines from that movie, that particular one could've been avoided. I say let this one go, but let's try and steer clear of those types of quotes. Just my opinion, it's Jack's house.
  5. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Sep 28 2004, 01:36 PM) QUOTE (Relaxed_Jack @ Sep 28 2004, 11:35 AM) Wonder who they'll get to play Barf? Jack Black! Good call!
  6. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Sep 28 2004, 05:23 PM) I'm not necessarily a huge fan of his ACTING (although he was good in "Seven")
  7. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Sep 28 2004, 12:03 PM) wtf was that? i'm not sure what to make of it Trey Parker (half of the South Park team) said their reason for making this movie was, "We just wanted to f*ck up some puppets." Good enough for me!
  8. I'm really looking forward to this... http://www.teamamericamovie.com/
  9. Ice Cube was good in "Three Kings."
  10. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Sep 27 2004, 01:15 PM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 26 2004, 06:13 PM) Next quote: "Because if I had enough time, I would take those rosary bleeds and shove 'em up your nose." "These bleeds?" Cannonball Run. Correct! Probably the most famous quote from a movie outtake. Yer up!
  11. Next quote: "Because if I had enough time, I would take those rosary bleeds and shove 'em up your nose." "These bleeds?"
  12. QUOTE (Indica @ Sep 25 2004, 05:31 PM)"Get off the bike, the bikes Moody's now" "My Bodyguard"
  13. That looks interesting. Good to see Michael Keaton gainfully employed again.
  14. That's one of those movies you hope doesn't suck. A lot of potential there.
  15. I just got home with the DVDs...I'll post a review of the surround sound after I've given them a spin.
  16. http://comingsoon.net/nextraimages/albaff.jpg Yum.
  17. I like "Babe: Pig In The City." It's a movie that dares the kiddies to get the adult jokes. But if you really look at it, it isn't a kid's movie. It's dark, surreal, and at times intense, but with cute animals. And you you're asking for trouble when one of the characters is named "Uncle Fugly." (And there's another very adult joke in there, but I won't disclose it for those who haven't seen it.) If you let your kids watch this one, watch it with them.
  18. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Sep 14 2004, 09:06 AM) 'Bufotenine. Hell of an hallucinogen. He's gone. He won't be coming back anytime soon.' (Pause). 'Discovery Channel.' Bringing Out the Dead?
  19. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Sep 13 2004, 10:14 AM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 12 2004, 09:39 PM) This set is coming out this Tuesday, correct? Next Tuesday, Sept. 21. Thanks!
  20. We're just playing...might keep it the same just because it's the easiest to read.
