  1. If you want a gritty, GRITTY cop film with raw camera work and gut-wrenching drama and ballsy acting, see "Narc" with Ray Liotta and Jason Patric. The opening chase scene is jaw dropping. http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00008YJDK.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

    Why?

I agree with ES...I didn't miss "NS" because of "BTW" and "Xanadu." I'll be jolly if they pull out "The Camera Eye" on the next tour, and that'll make me forget "Roll The Bones" (hint hint, guys...time to dump that one once and for all!).
  3. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Oct 18 2004, 03:47 PM) Why wait that long to release it? Pit it against the inevitable Da Vinci Code movie for some real PR. Good point. This movie is being made because "The Passion Of The Christ" made all that money. People will plunk down ten bucks for a ticket just because they'll be curious if it's the opposite of "Passion."
  4. QUOTE (BSG @ Oct 18 2004, 09:00 AM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Oct 17 2004, 11:15 PM) Next: Cop A: "I've been trying to get you all night. Why don't you answer your f***ing beeper?" Cop B: "I just want to tell you, that the next time I'm suspended, so is my F***ING BEEPER!" Rush Hour?
  5. Next: Cop A: "I've been trying to get you all night. Why don't you answer your f***ing beeper?" Cop B: "I just want to tell you, that the next time I'm suspended, so is my F***ING BEEPER!"
  6. In the words of Brave Sir Robin, "That's EASY!" "Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life"
  7. Post one, Mr. Bond! You got skills, or what?
  8. Donna sure knows a lot of these movies!
  9. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Oct 16 2004, 03:34 PM) OK, next quote: "So you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in the meat grinder." "Identity?"
  10. QUOTE (ZootAllures @ Oct 16 2004, 03:22 PM)Recent Purchases: Al Di Meola- Elegant Gypsy. It's Latin Fusion, and he is incredible. Elegant Gypsy is very good. "Fight Over Rio," "Race With Devil On Spanish Highway" and "Elegant Gypsy Suite" are the standouts. If you don't own DiMeola's Casino, you should pick it up. "Egyptian Danza" is probably my fave Al DiMeola song, and the entire album is great. I wouldn't rank him in my top ten, but he's an excellent guitarist. QUOTE ...with Christmas coming up, I hope to get these: Yes- Close to the Edge. I hear nothing but good things concerning this band. Close To The Edge is Yes' masterpiece. It's a perfect album. That is all.

QUOTE (Emops @ Oct 16 2004, 01:09 AM) QUOTE (Drumnut @ Oct 15 2004, 11:59 PM) If they take out La Villa, What song should Al's rant be in? I think Alex should start performing the rap from "Roll the Bones." That's a good idea, but I was hoping they'd dump "Roll The Bones" on the next tour. I go get a pretzel when that song comes on.
  12. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Oct 15 2004, 08:00 PM)I would have preferred Britney to fill the famous shorts, but Jessica will do A year ago I would agree with you, but Britney's done. She's on her way to doing infomercials for some amazing floor cleaner/margarita mix concoction. Jessica will sell more movie tickets than Ms. Spears would now.
  13. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Oct 15 2004, 09:07 AM) Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville are playing Bo and Luke Duke, while Jessica Simpson is taking on the role of Daisy Duke. Jessica Simpson is dumber than a bag of hammers, but she'll have no problem filling out those cut-off denim shorts.
  14. QUOTE (Moonraker @ Oct 14 2004, 11:14 PM) QUOTE (Rivendell @ Oct 14 2004, 01:53 PM) How about Colin Farrel? I like him as an actor, but he's no Bond. Not suave enough.
  15. At least Naomi Watts is in it again. I liked "The Ring," but it didn't creep me out as much as I wanted it to. I still might see this.
  16. Are they going to make them wear those pastel-colored clothes? It wouldn't be "Vice" without them.
  17. I'm trying to think of a good reason why this should happen... ...nothing yet... ...still drawing a blank... ...nope, can't think of one.
  18. QUOTE (LakesideMaiden @ Oct 14 2004, 09:44 AM) "Martini. Blown to bits, not stirred."
  19. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Oct 14 2004, 09:22 AM) Brosnan Confirms His 007 Days are Over While he holds no grudges, he does have someone in mind who would be a perfect replacement. He won't reveal who that is, but he saw him in a recent movie and was impressed. "He had a presence: Face, body, voice, the eyes. He would make a good one." Who's he talking about? Christian Bale? Eric Bana? Jack Black?
  20. "Leave That Thing Alone," with "Double Agent" a close second.
  21. QUOTE (yankeeyankeezulu @ Oct 11 2004, 06:54 PM) Anyone ever seen a cheesy little movie for the 60's called, "Cyborg 2087"? I haven't seen it since I was a kid but I recall the basic premise: Bad guys from the future send an assassin back in time to kill a scientist who will have a profound impact on the future. The good guys send a cyborg (Michael Rennie) back to stop the assassin. Sound familiar? Yeah, slightly familiar! Never heard of that film, and I'm sure most others haven't either. Very interesting...
  22. She'd be into it if Singer was still slated to direct X-3. Now that he's not, who knows...
  23. That Simon from "American Idol" bit is pretty funny.
