Just glad to not be laying in the hospital and watching pizza ads on TV while I couldn't eat!
The only food ads you should see on a hospital TV are for Taco Bell. There's a company that no longer tries to make its food look good for TV. Nothing curbs hunger cravings like seeing fake tacos and green sauces that are guaranteed to go right through you.
Glad you're feeling better!

What is second hand grace? Or third hand grace for that matter?
Something to do with MK-Ultra, I think.

Chi Chi was a character, smoking cigarettes between shots and of course swordfighting after sinking a big putt. RIP.

Who's next, KISS?
38 minutes ago, treeduck said:KISS are continuing with four avatar sex bots that will have real appendages, like real tongue (made of veal), real hair for the Gene bot (which isn't authentic though) and real permanent hangover for the Ace robot. The Peter Criss bot will have a computer simulated mind based on the human version of Criss. The Paul Stanley bot will be well versed in lip synching skills.
It's all true, I read it on the internet.

Åkerfeldt talks about the album and why he decided to go back to that style of "singing." Read about it here.
The special guest mentioned later in that article is pretty dang special.

I'm just as surprised that Downey would take the role, unless Disney threw an insane amount of money at him.

Are Paris and the Olympic Committee still adhering to having no air conditioning for the athletes' housing?

Team USA has confirmed that it will bring its own air conditioning units for American athletes to use in their rooms in the Olympic Village at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. The news came after games organizers said no AC would be provided in the accommodation.

The U.S. bringing their own A/C units has exponentially accelerated the melting of the polar ice caps. Won't someone think of the winter Olympians?

1. AC/DC are very good at what they do, but they do the same thing on almost every song. Judas Priest has a little more variety in their music, so they got my vote.
2. That said, Back in Black is a total banger.
3. Rob got the vocalist vote, of course.
4. Nope.

All in the second half!
How poetic that Diana Taurasi and the Olympic coach got beat on what should have been their coronation night. WNBA old guard leadership is really showing their ass.
Seems like Caitlin purposely held back, letting others do their thing, plus once she handed the ball off to someone else she rarely got it back.

Team WNBA guard Arike Ogunbowale goes off for 21 Q3 points to give the her team ab 88-81 lead over the YSA Olympic Team going into Q4.
She finished with 34 points and the MVP. She was ridiculous.

Oh...When the WNBA posted Ionescu's selection as player of the week they listed her stats with a congratulatory message and a highlight video.
The video was highlights from Clark's historic assist record performance. The post has since bern deleted.

"Caitlin Clark is the first player in WNBA history to average 20+ PPG & 10+ APG and not get selected as Player of the Week"
Ionescu averaged 25-5-5 in earning the Eastern honor. These WNBA people are truly petty, and marketing morons.

Great battle today between Dallas and Indiana! Some clutch buzzer-beating shooting by the Wings, and a costly turnover by Clark down the stretch was the deciding factor. Caitlin did set a WNBA single game assist record with 19 to go along with her 24 points.
I'm sure she'd gladly trade the record for a win.
2 hours ago, laughedatbytime said:How many of those 19 assists were on her own missed shots, though?
I only saw a little of tonight's game. Was that a dig on Angel Reese and her rebounding?

CONAN: Say Jordan were to show up at your home in Toronto, would you invite him in and let him stay for a week?
GEDDY: F**k no.

Easily the worst best guitarist list since that big Rolling Stone list a couple years ago. Taylor Swift shouldn't place anywhere on such a list even if it was the top 500 best.

"Burn The Boats" is a Funeral for Joe Rogan's Comedy Career
in Video Vertigo

I haven't watched a lot of his standup comedy, probably because what I did see didn't make me laugh much.
But even if his comedy career completely tanked and ended tomorrow, he'd still have the number one podcast in the world. So, why is his podcast so popular?
