France-based Carrefour, one of the world’s largest grocery chains, told customers Thursday it is pulling Lay’s, Doritos, Lipton teas and other PepsiCo products in protest of increased prices.

Stores in France, Italy, Belgium and Spain will be affected, multiple news outlets reported. Carrefour, which has more than 12,000 stores globally, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In a sign taped to certain aisles in stores, the company announced the decision and said it is “committed to lowering prices.”

Consumers in France, Italy, Belgium and Spain just got a lot healthier.

Salem's Lot scene in the vampire's lair, very reminiscent of the original Nosferatu stuff. Very scary.   :rose:

One of the best made for TV movies ever. I saw it when it premiered, and when that scene came on I was of course glued to the TV. Just after David Soul opened the coffin, the movie was interrupted by the network for some bullshit special report and I missed the whole scene. They couldn't have timed that any worse -- it was like they waited to cut in at that exact moment just to troll everybody. I didn't get to see that scene until years later as YouTube or Netflix hadn't been invented yet.

I was a huge fan of Starsky and Hutch too. RIP David.

Yeah I saw this one and also the Andy Summers one.

He starts off with a nice version of Vista Grande from the Southern Steel album.

That might be my favorite track from Southern Steel.

Morse is in my top-5, and I've been a fan since The Dregs' Unsung Heroes album. I could listen to him shredding it up all day long, but I'm more drawn to his melodic songs. Vista Grande is a good example, along with these.

For sure, Anagram does have a certain something. After hearing it for the first time I did go back and listen to it again to confirm that it was the bland, uninspired and non-Rush-like filler track that I suspected it was. Sadly, my suspicions were confirmed, and I haven't listened to it since 1989.

Why all the Anagram hate D: the lyrics are quite good and Neil has some tasty fills all throughout!

    Hmmmm....

  5. Never got into this band, but Goodwyn had a great voice.

I liked the shoutout the Trailer Park Boys gave them in the episode where Ricky kidnapped Alex.

RICKY:  Hey, play "I Like To Rock."

    ALEX: That's April Wine

RICKY:  Well play that "Diane Sawyer" song, just f**kin' play something.

Anagram at least has a catchy melody that can bring you back to listening to it again.

He had the Boston crowd sing “Madrigal”.  Of all the songs in the catalogue….

As for sing-along songs from Rush, you can do worse than Madrigal. Most of T4E and S&A, for instance.

All malt liquor.  I love my state but Lone Star beer is terrible.

Lone Star is bad. Shiner Bock is passable. I'll never go out of my way to get one but I know I won't make a strong EWWWW face if I drink one.

Old English 800, Schlitz Malt Liquor, Mickey's wide mouth.

My first thought was any malt liquor.  Disgusting. Imagine thinking you need a 40oz bottle of that shit. :puke:

Any of the cheap American macrobrews would qualify, like Miller, Budweiser, Coors, Busch, and any light beer...they all use cheap grains, including corn or rice (Bud) -- grains which should never be used to brew beer.

Michelob, which is marketed as a highbrow beer, is really gross. The one macrobrew that I can stomach while held at gunpoint is Pabst Blue Ribbon.

One need not be "TRFer of the century" to positively contribute and interact in SOCN. Being at least somewhat open-minded and somewhat thick-skinned and having some ideas of your own is all you need. BP's been in there for only a week and he's doing just fine.
