QUOTE (Jake2112 @ Jul 28 2010, 10:12 PM) QUOTE (ofsalesmen @ Jul 28 2010, 10:37 PM) Not to distract from the OP's post, but does anyone know anything about the Daphne Blue (or Ice Blue Metallic) Jazz Bass that Geddy warms up on as shown in the first scene of the Rush doc? I have a pretty good idea of his current gear but I had never seen that bass before. Just taking a guess, but probably a warmup bass like a lower end Fender or Squire just to get fingers moving. But I really don't know in this case Do you think Geddy would actually warm up on a Squire??

I seriously doubt there will be any changes. -

anymore thoughts on this??

I like it. It's not as full as the album version; there's a lot of layering on S&A. It's my favorite guitar solo that Alex has done in a long time.

Does anyone know if Alex's black PRS (that he's had several years) is a 22 or 24 fret?

QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Jul 8 2010, 06:31 PM) I remember reading somewhere that a couple of tours ago, the neck on his original Fender was broken or damaged beyond repair. The Fender Custom Shop replaced the neck. I believe there is a chance that this is a "new" bass. I read on RIAB last year that Geddy bought a '74 (or something) Jazz at a music store in Virginia. The neck on the '72 was replaced before the Snakes and Arrows tour; reasoning- it was worn out. I seriously doubt it would be changed out again this soon. Also, this current bass has a design on the pickguard. Based on his style, I doubt Geddy would add it to his '72; a bass he's had in the original style all these years. I thought a lot about this when I saw the Albuquerque show, and I'd bet that this is a "new", old bass.

Does anyone know who the German Shepherd in the beginning of the Limelight video belonged to? Perhaps the same owner as the "Limbo" dog? (see link) http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/wallpaper/T4Edog.jpg
