  1. i wonder when rush made their cover album, why they picked for what it,s worth to cover? would have rather seen them cover like a hurricane by neil youg and add it in their set. trick of the light by the who would have been better than the seeker too.
  2. And what did I notice about that picture? He has dirty finger nails. look what the main course is. http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/05/21/6d/b2/deep-fried-spiders.jpg
  3. do not know where they fall, but these need to be somewhere on the list. tombstone, may be the best western ever made.outlaw josey wales, unforgiven, pale rider and gran torino. blazing saddles, young frankenstein, history of the world, great comedies the godfather saga
  4. me and my son who is in the usaf and stationed in arizona and me saw RUSH in greensboro,nc,2 years ago. it was his first concert and my i guess maybe 60 or 70th concert i had been too going back 45 years.
  5. i like permanent waves better.i think MP got a lot of fans who were on the bubble about being rush fans to total rush fans.i may be different but i think farwell to kings and 2112 are just as good as any of the other albums they ever made.signals is damn good too.
  6. While it would never happen, I'd sure love to see it. Wonder if a tribute band would take something like this on. i would love to see show dont tell just to see how they would handle geddy also singing back up vocals to himself.
  7. josey wales high plains drifter pale rider magnum force hang em,high gran torino sudden impact unforgiven
  8. he,s a big led zeppelin fan.that is probably cause he is from chicago home of chess records home of all the blues guys and chuck berry.
  9. the song is older than me,but did they ever do not fade away live?
  10. thought this was the best movie he made in a very long time, especially the heart attack scene on the golf course.
  11. also liked machine gun preacher, olympus is fallen and london has fallen.
  12. http://saboteur365.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/charles-bronson-in-death-wish-movie.png?w=584 how can you guys forget the death wish movies or just about all of bronson,s movies?
  13. not all about his physical health only, losing one kid and not being around his new ones had to be a part of it.i am in the process of divorcing after being tofether 38 years,33 married.my kids are grown and married, but even after 3 years of constant fighting,i still miss the hell out of her.cant imagine him losing them likr he did. also, alex arthritis is a major factor.i imagine the cartoon at the start of each concert with alex in the wheelchair in the cartoon probably is a real thing.plus,i do not care how much ear protection you use, listening and being the source of mind numbing cranked up as loud as hell music 40 years has to seriously damage your hearing.there is no way they could avoid that, all 3 of them. I am glad they rode off into the sunset the way they did with dignity, honor and respect like any great band should do.hate to see them beating a dead horse like the rolling stones are doing.
  14. Offered by whom? And why was it torn up? offered after the reunion show .by a group of tour promoters, plant tore it up,said he was not gonna ever tour under the led zeppelin name ever. pink floyd got a similar offer after their 5 song reunion, also turned down by all 4 guys. i would bet if they got offered that, tickets for bad seats would have been a grand each,no telling how much a front row seat would be.back in both heydays, would have been worth it,now that they are older men,it could never be worth it.
  15. Why? He didn't do anything wrong. Chuck f***ed him over first. He's just getting back at him. First off, that kind of needless revenge is never ok. Second, Chuck has been right about Jimmy at every step. We know how Jimmy's story ends... if Chuck had been successful in holding him back, it wouldn't be such a tragedy. Maybe Jimmy would've found purpose as an advertiser. Maybe he would've worked his way into a legitimate career... One thing's sure, he wouldn't end up pushing broom at a Cinnabon. Jimmy is a crook. Jimmy did steal from the cash drawer. Jimmy does cheat his way through everything he does,"Go land crabs!" And most of all, Jimmy did doctor Chuck's documents, publicly embarassing him, and jeopardizing his client's well being. We like Jimmy. I get it... that's kind of the point to the character: No matter how much wrong he does, the world still loves him... and no matter how right Chuck is, the world still hates him... It's a built in injustice, masterfully painted by the show's creators. Through it all, we even lose sight of the fact that Chuck is SICK. He's been so pushed and pressured and twisted by the reality of his existence, that even when Chuck does cross a line, I don't know that we can hold him responsible. He is mentally unfit, surrounded by enablers (not the least of whom have been Jimmy), and he's wielding his legal expertise like a chimp with a machine gun; no idea how much of a danger he is in his state. To this point, understanding the characters' motivations, I've been able to sympathize with both sides. Jimmy is wrong to do what he does, but he has generally meant well. Not so much now. He's crossed the important line between mischievous scheming and malicious attacking... More tragic than his final circumstances, we are watching the loss of his benevolence. The death of Jimmy McGill. Well written and spot on. my lord man,it is a tv show.
  16. i watch it every week.i am glad we get to see how hector got messed up by gus before he blew gus up.and having a character as nuts as his brother seems to be is almost as good as having walter was.
  17. every band from the late 60s on used drugs.why would rush be any different? i know that touring took a physical toll on all the guys, especially, neal.i doubt seriously was ,coke or hard stuff, but most certainly used legal drugs, and of course they smoked grass.
