  1. Haven't been on here in forever, but I came back to pay my respects. I didn't think a day like this would come so soon but... it has. And it's gut-wrenching. One of my friends sent me a link to an article about Neil. I honestly thought it was gonna be a prank, I just kinda thought "This link has Neil Peart and obituary in it, this has to be a joke. Just someone with the same name." I still want to believe it is, but I know that what I read was real. I just feel real numb right now. Rest in peace, Professor.
  2. Garden Road and Fancy Dancer were both songs performed way early on (as in, Rutsey was there when they were written) and were never recorded. There are only two versions I know of, the Agora Ballroom (ABC Broadcast 1974) and another one that's on Youtube. That bootleg you speak of though, is it ABC 1974 (the official release), Complete Agora, or somethin' else? I have Complete Agora and it's nothing more than the official release with bonus content.
  3. Definitely gotta say the cover for the single release of Nobody's Hero.
  4. The Trees. A bunch of trees fighting sounds comedic rather than dramatic. Not to mention, the song was based off of a cartoon Neil saw.
  5. 1. Humble Pie. 2. Nirvana. 3. Love On Ice. 4. Grateful Dead. 5. No secrets here. 6. Bay City Rollers. 7. Rush.
  6. Def Leppard, Poison, and Tesla in May. I'm hoping to get tickets for Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton since they're coming to my state in July.
  7. "Roxy Lady" from Ricochet. I'd say that "Summerlove Sensation" is my favourite when it comes to Les McKeown stuff though. Ah, trust me, I'm not too vocal about glam metal in general so I'm not likely to talk about them. Yeah, I don't expect to see many BCR fans around here. I see you like the Pittsburgh Penguins. My mum and I do as well! My dad likes the Flyers... hockey nights aren't fun sometimes at my house. I get around so chances are we probably have met on Instagram or Tumblr. Nice to meet you! (again) And thanks for the warm welcomes to everybody else who replied.
  8. Hi, I'm Floyd, but I don't mind if you call me Faure. I've been a Rush fan since about June of last year, but they've become my favourite band. I've got a majority of their stuff on vinyl and a few of bootleg CDs. Albeit, two of them are turkeys. I enjoy films and video games a lot. When it comes to both of those things, I tend to stick to the classic stuff, but I do enjoy some modern day material. Don't have any laserdiscs for movies, but there are some VHS tapes down in the basement (probably taped over though, I don't think we even have a VHS player anymore) and I own a few Gameboy, NES, and Sega Genesis games. In my spare time, I write and I do a lot of art. Pretty sure the sides of my notes for practically all of my classes have more drawings than in my sketchbooks. Some bands and musicians I like outside of Rush include The Beatles, Humble Pie, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Journey, Van Halen, Yes, Mötley Crüe, and The Bay City Rollers. unfortunately http://i.imgur.com/erVWao3.png this is what I can do in like, under a minute. I do serious stuff, I swear.
