So without Pollard, our running game will feature . . . who, exactly? More pressure on Dak performing out of his head.
I was all for rolling the dice on Derrick Henry. We have no running back or a center. We have so damn many holes.

Congrats Chiefs!! You did it the hard way. You took down some really good teams.

Beltre is one of the best all around third basemen to ever play. Full stop. He could have 3-5 more gold gloves based on actual on the field play as well as metrics. Oh, and bonus -- he could hit.
You're a miserable sod.
Another bonus - he was extremely valuable in the locker room. He helped groom younger players and everyone looked up to him. He led by example. Tough son of a gun too.

Beltre, Helton, and Mauer voted into the Hall. What a freaking joke. Add Biggio, Rolen and Baines and no wonder baseball’s popularity has faded.
Beltre got 95% of the vote. Pull your head out of your ass.

I guess they're trading Dak Prescott then?
I don't see how we can. He'll count $59 million and change against the cap next year I think. Plus he has a no trade clause.

Hope you're doing OK, Mr. Compass!
Tough loss. The Cowboys have too many good players to let this loss destroy them. They will return.
Same old crap. Some heads are going to roll.

Cold + wind has a big effect on passing and kicking, which - the latter especially - is how the Chiefs score. Miami has the better running game.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out
I would expect a heavy dose of Pacheco.

I am fully prepared to see Dallas win. The Packers are quite overdue for a loss on that field. As long as the Packers give ‘em a tough game, I’ll be happy.
Love has been playing extremely well and he's no longer a rookie. Uh hum. A first year starter I mean.

Another Packer victory at AT&T Stadium would be outrageous! Ridiculous! Supercalifragili.......oh, forget it.
Everybody in DFW is waiting for that shoe to fall. And for good reason.

If the Chargers are wise, they will part ways with head coach Brandon Staley. His Madden video game offensive philosophy is embarrassing.
They will never go anywhere with him at the helm, IMO.
Done, wise man.

We're cracking the 50s now, so I suppose now is a good time to check in how it's going album-wise. I see that via my last post of songs Counterparts was the first album to be eliminated, with Snakes & Arrows just hanging on by virtue of the instrumentals. This rounded get rid of the last of the band's adult contemporary music, an exploration that yielded some of the group's most forgettable songs, but also this list of beautifully emotive ones as well.
59. Time Stand Still - one of RUSH'S absolute best thematically, lyrically, and vocally, it suffers from 80s production and a video that spawned hilarious parody. Goodbye Hold Your Fire.
58. Ghost Of A Chance - Neil was brilliantly analytical, to a fault, even. As far as capturing what it's like for a hopeless intellectual to navigate the sea of love, he nails it here.
57. Here Again - Our first exposure to the promise Alex shows as one of rock's most emotive players
56. Hope - Alex in the raw
55. Time & Motion - One of my favorite later career tracks, brilliantly poetic
54. Sweet Miracle - After Neil's tragedy there were doubts about whether the band could rebound. Did they ever!
53. Lakeside Park - Wonderfully nostalgic
52. Available Light - I love Neil's driving rhythm, and Geddy is at his absolute best as a singer here and on the next few tracks
51. Middletown Dreams - A perfectly painted picture of the struggle against the mundane
50. Vital Signs - A dramatic musical turning point for the band, only one song has moved up more for me over the years
Damn. I probably would have Vital Signs in my top three. I'd have Middletown Dreams pretty high along with Hope and Lakeside Park.

I'm in the DFW area and I think we are going to get around 2 minutes of totality.
