  1. I thought the first three Van Hagar albums were a really great run ... 5150, OU812 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
  2. this one's easy ... it's Kansas
  3. I'm just happy that these old rockers are still out there doing "mostly live" shows ... they could just be enjoying their retirements and giving us nothing ... it's great just to see them, and for the most part, hear them .. But that's just me ... to each his own on this subject for sure
  4. That's your daddy? I knew you were a member's son but I forgot which one. Amps, you have a fine son. You and the Mrs. are to be commended. Happy Birthday! Thanks! We are very Proud of EP !!
  5. well leave that thing alone is instrumental so guess its not that haha ... maybe the right album though?
  6. They've just always done it that way with every singer since Freddie died ... I think it's to put sort of a win win name out there ... It honors Freddie by basically saying he is irreplaceable, and it gives the guest singer a name in the band.
  7. Don't forget W.A.S.P. Can't get more insightful than "Sex Drive." and Spinal Taps Sex farm
  8. James Taylor Rod Stewart Elton John David Wilcox David Bowie
  9. I like the Stevie Nicks nomination. She deserves it imo Love the Def Leppard nomination too biggest omissions are iron maiden and judas priest imo
  10. Paul Rogers Sting Phil Collins Pete Townshend
  11. 2112 | A Farewell to Kings A Passage to Bangkok | Xanadu The Twilight Zone | Closer to the Heart Lessons | Cinderella Man Tears | Madrigal Something For Nothing | cygnus x-1
  12. with me it really depends on the genre .. if I'm listening to prog rock or metal i really don't need to draw anything from the lyrics .. i just want the whole package to hit me all at once usually .. and then it really depends on the singer .. some of them i understand the words as they sing them but many of them i do not if it's folk music i need the lyrics to hit me .. i love the acoustic guitar in that genre but i really depend on the lyrics to really enjoy the song if its pop rock like Don't stop Believing i think i really do like the lyrics to hit me there too .. at least i like the chorus to stand out as something meaningful and usually just fun to me funny thing happened to me recently .. I was at a dance competition with my two daughters and I was just watching some of the other dancers perform .... this one young girl comes out and dances a lyrical style dance to I Believe by Fantasia and about half way through the song I am emotional! I thought it was weird that I was but i really was ... she put so much into the dance ... the words to that song are cheesy but I knew they were about overcoming the odds and I guess that's what really hit me .. just thought I'd share that .. I guess in pop music I need the lyrics too ... I listen for many different reasons .. some of those I need the lyrics and some I don't .. and I think I am probably a pretty average listener
  13. funny ... I hear By-Tor
  14. "nothing is either good or bad (or worst) but thinking makes it so" .... on that note I nominate a song that doesn't really exist 26) Sex Farm ... Spinal Tap
  15. That has to be it, it's blue wow, it's not even Hems, it's literally another 2112 repackage. That's actually disappointing. It's like, how much more blue could it be? And the answer is .. none! None more blue ..
  16. It is Blue Vinyl AND a keychain !! Overall effect kind of like this- If I told them once I've told them 100 times .. put spinal tap first and the puppet show last !!
  17. You have trouble limiting your posts to 4000 words never mind an essay ;) that's hilarious
