you just said a lot of what I have been thinking about this .. no one really expected anything from Neil anyway after he retired .. I know that's why I was floored by the news .. everything was just as it should be .. ged and Alex were being ged and Alex .. Neil was just being Neil .. or so we all thought

when I woke up this morning unfortunately the first thing I thought about was this tragedy .. I thought .. oh that's right Neil died and that sucks!! .. but a lesson I'm taking away from this is get your shit together and retire to do things you want to do as soon as you can .. you just never know when this kind of thing can hit you .. hopefully the year or so he had before he started his cancer battle was just awesome for him and his wife and daughter .. and hopefully even during the battle they had some good times together

this post is getting me again! .. holding back a few tears again!! good lord he was amazing

when I get in my van here in about an hour I'm turning on Rush and I'm not sure when I'll turn it off again .. right now all I want to do is listen to Rush .. for a long long time

Another I'll Wait lover!!! All of the songs you mentioned are good. As for DLR and his voice, I think his best vocals are on the debut album. Many here say he can't sing, but I think he can. I think he's a great rock singer ... and probably one of the top 3 front men ever, along with freddie mercury and steven tyler

nice .. I'd go (no particular order) Petrucci Alex Eddie Clapton You never talk about how much you like Clapton. I'd like to hear from him too about that. No one mentions Eric much anymore. He's been overshadowed for sure. I was just trying to name the 4 best IMO ... I do really like Clapton tho ... I think he is just about the perfect mix of blues and rock .. and like other greats you just know it's him when you hear it my 4 favorite includes 2 of those .. it's Alex Petrucci Ace Brian May I also really have come around to Matt Bellamy too EP .. I think you're right about him ... he really is one of the all time greats IMO
