  1. While I don't believe the same level of greatness that was achieved during the classic rock era (1966 - 1996, thereabouts) will ever be seen again, there are some good bands up and coming, you just have to look harder to find them. There may not be a Led Zeppelin or a Beatles, or a Rush out there, but there are some interesting bands. Royal Blood and Band of Skulls come to mind. I enjoy both of those groups.
  2. 1 - Beatles 2 - Rush 3 - U2 4 - Yes After that its a revolving door of the classics plus a few others thrown in the mix: Foo Fighters, King's X, Steely Dan, The Police, Jethro Tull, Stones, Zep, Jimi, etc etc etc ...
  3. King's X I love as well! I am listening to them now as a matter of fact ...
  4. I took a two month break before the R40 DVD came out. Then it was on again to Rush Rush Rush. But I tend to take periodic breaks from certain bands and rotate others in... Amongst my favorite bands, Rush gets heavy rotation. The Beatles are also heavy on my playlist.

Rushhead666 - that is nice! Great FBN era ad.
  6. For some weird reason the verses to "Fancy Dancer" make me think of the Addams Family theme song.

  10. I like Garden Road. Fancy Dancer is interesting. Can't Fight It is interesting if only for the fact that it allows a peak into what the album might have sounded like lyrically had Rutsey not trashed his own lyrics. BTW - long time lurker (many years) - finally signed up for an account.
