  1. We had Zero issues. Kind sir, I would just like to thank you from the bottom of this little Rush fans heart - what you did for us literally gave me the BEST concert experience of my life - and I am quite confident I speak for my brother as well!! Seriously man, who Does that??? You, sir, have reminded me that there are still some really kind and cool people in the world, not afraid to go out of their way and do something really awesome for a couple of fellow Rush fans. Neither of us have ever ever ever had front row tickets - it was but a mere dream - a sparkle in our eyes - "maybe some day..." lolol this sounds very sappy but I dont care, its 100% true. You would think I just won the lottery. Ha!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I know this wasnt ideal for ya, sooooo sorry you had to miss the show - but rest assured your tickets went to some crazy loving fans! P.S. Yeah um, the show itself, was Fantastic, the guys were on fire, Geddy sounds amazing right now - he is definitely well oiled - did I mention he sang to me? Directly to me. We had a moment.... a little wink here, a little smile there.... Yeah.... at least that is what I convinced myself for three hours. default/smile.png default/smile.png Until the next show, thanks again - if we ever cross paths, not the first but EVERY round is on me...
  2. I e-mailed the moderators - to remove those pics! Thanks!!
  3. QUOTE (Jsteinrush @ Oct 27 2012, 10:48 AM)QUOTE (byoungjr @ Oct 26 2012, 10:13 AM) In the future, you might not want to post pictures of tickets with the barcode. Hopefully everyone in this forum is honest and won't copy them! It probably would have been better for the excited recipients of these tickets if you had not mentioned that...
  4. Shoot I'll sell mine for $50 too!!! Why not!! Sec 101, Row 9, Seat 5 C'mon guys!!!!
  5. Ok well it turns out that the sell option is "at-will" of the promoter and is not available for these tickets, according to Customer Service. So once again, anybody want to buy my ticket for $75 flat??
  6. Update: I will sell this ticket for $50 if Anybody is interested. We would have to set you up an account on Flash Tickets and you would pay me via paypal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Greetings fellow Rush Fans! My brother and I scored (unbelievable, amazingly, ridiculously, OMFG) front row seats to tomorrow nights show on Ged's side!!! Anyhow, trying to get rid of my ticket - which is Sec101, Row9, Seat5 - way back but right in the middle - better than what I am finding online now. I paid $91 for it, but I'd settle for $75. Firstly - is anyone interested? I would open a pay-pall account, and then transfer the ticket to you via Flash Tickets.... Secondly - has anyone sold a ticket on Flash Tickets? For some reason I do not have a "Sell" option!! Just curious if anyone knows how to sell a ticket on that god forsaken site...?
  7. What a better way to spend my birthday....than watching the boys kick off their tour in Manchester!!! Happy birthday to MEEEEE! September 7th, get here already! My wishlist, in no particular order: Presto (pleeeease, again!!!) The Anarchist Clockwork Angels The Garden Carnies The Wreckers (pleeeeeeeeeeease?) Time Stands Still Closer to the Heart Between the Wheels Earthshine Marathon Anything from Signals Obviously nothing stands out, if they could just play the entire CA album that'd be enough... And Presto. Who is going to Manchester Sept 7th? Is that another forum?
  8. We made our own fun sitting under a table at the show. We did go again and we got the hats - and its one of my favorite Rush experiences (besides opening night of S&A private party listening to soundcheck) *snorkle* On a side note - HOLY CRAP 13 MORE SLEEPS TIL MY SEPTEMBER 7TH BIRTHDAY / TRIP TO MANCHESTER / INCREDIBLE OPENING NIGHT EXPERIENCE!!! I have been told that they decided to do this for my 37th birthday - thanks boys! http://s18.postimage.org/da3sa34t1/the_rain_date.jpg
  9. Songs we will not be hearing this tour, songs they shouldn't or wont play - Dog Years j/k
  10. QUOTE (Chicken hawk @ Apr 24 2012, 08:09 PM) Hi C arnie Ive been a RUSH Fan from their start...yep im almost as old as them! And proud of it. Nice to meet you ! Ha! Right on, Chicken hawk - I do bow to you. God, to have been able to witness the Hemispheres tour - all I have are some scratchy bootlegs - man Geddy could wail back then! And hey Carrie! Yeah we are definitely scoping out the meet-ups - for the opening night of S&A in Atlanta we got some cool passes with the rushtour.com people - got to the venue like two hours early with a private little party and we got to hear soundcheck - it was brilliant! If I hear of something like that going on for Manchester I will spread the word! Exciting times for Rush fans!!
  11. QUOTE (Workaholic Man @ Apr 24 2012, 03:14 PM)QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Apr 16 2012, 09:11 PM) QUOTE (Snow-Dog2112 @ Apr 16 2012, 05:45 PM) Maybe even Far Cry That's possible because for awhile they did open their shows with the first song off the previous album. Agree. I think Far Cry is a good possibility. You know, (Hi hello I'm new here btw, nice to meet you all) - I have heard that - Rush opening their tour with the previous albums' first song - but S&A opened with Limelight, R30 doesnt count obviously, Vapor Trails opened with Tom Sawyer (who knew? that was cool...), Test for Echo opened with Dreamline, so did Counterparts so I guess that would be one example, Roll the Bones opened with Force Ten... *snorkle* So in hindsight, the opening songs have been wonderfully unpredictable in the past couple of decades. Personally I think One Little Victory would be super cool! Although the fire-balls might be overkill for the beginning of the show - but by the sounds of Headlong Flight, this is gonna prove to be a high-energy tour I think - so hell yeah start it with a big bang of pyrotechnic fire! Hell yeah...
  12. Girls. Right on. Most of the time, at shows, I only encounter girlfriends and wives, who tend to roll their eyes often, sit after song number 3 and pee a lot. Its nice to see some real fangirls - I love it! I've never really met one in person - are you hand-shy? Just a quick intro - I'm 36 and have been a Rush fan for the bigger half of my life - it has been engraned in my blood - its like a family tradition - I think I was born this way (queue Gaga). My first Rush concert was Roll the Bones in '91, however I have been surrounded by the music of Rush since I was a wee-bit. (Big thanks to my older brothers) Every year I discover something new in an old song (for instance today I was just reminded by A Farewell to Kings album how totally far-out hard core and awesome Cygnus X-1 is - time to listen to Hemispheres...) Anyhow nice to meet you all!!
