  1. Hi, I can't go unfortunately and I have two hard copy tix that I can mail to someone in Bay Area or do a quick meet to hand off. I work in San Jose. Would like to see a Rush fan have them. You can private message me if interested. Hopefully giving away tickets isn't against some website policy or other BS. thanks
  2. VIP meet and greet only for $$$$ on ticketmaster, but I just happened to go straight to the Primus website to look and got tickets for $55 a piece (plus lovely fees of course).
  3. presale today at 10am, but don't know the password. on sale to general public Friday at 10am. saw Primus open for Rush I think it was at the Oakland Coliseum on Roll the Bones tour. Definitely going to this. Plus The Greek is awesome.
  4. Still here staring at the screen. Time to turn off the sports radio, close my office door and crank some f***ing Rush!
  5. Just heard the news on sports radio of all places. Had no idea he was sick. Haven't posted on here in a few years but was drawn here. Really bummed. Big loss for everyone. Even though it's a total shock, I respect the fact that he and his bandmates kept it private. The lack of a return to music for him after the last tour makes way more sense now. Not sure what else to say. Bummed out. RIP Neil.
  6. I would prefer they called it something else, but if they called it Rush I would go see them. It’s not like Neil died. He basically retired/quit when Alex and Geddy wanted to keep going. If Alex and Geddy still want to make music together then get another drummer, call it whatever the heck you want, put out an album, and tour.
  7. Great thread. How about Michael Schenker. His playing on UFO's live album Strangers in The Night blows me away. Listened to it today for the zillionth time
  8. Changes aren't permanent, but change is.
  9. I think they'll put out another album and do another small tour. This is based on absolutely nothing but gut feel (and probably a little hope) and the reality that 99.9% of top notch actors, athletes, and musicians have a very hard time walking away when they can still perform. Neil may say he's done, not like the limelight etc... but I don't believe it.
  10. Good shit. Makes me want to grab my acoustic thanks for sharing
  11. The live version of Red Barchetta from Exit Stage Left (different than any other).
  12. Have to go with Battle of TN. My two favorite bands are Led Zeppelin and Rush so this was an interesting post for me.
  13. So many great songs they played. If I had to pick I'd say Jacob's Ladder since I'd never seen it played live before (first tour I saw was Grace). Hemispheres prelude would be second for the same reason. They didn't play Losing It in San Jose. Would have loved to have seen that.
