Welcome to the club.

I called the Anthem office a couple of times in the early 90's asking about Rush news, next albums and stuff. She always held the line for the band, but was also very friendly and personable on the phone.
RIP - and thank you for being nice to a slightly annoying fan.- 3

I mean.....Jimmy's got the riffs. Solid heavy blues based goodness.
Al though - his imagination - that chaotic melodic atmospheric stuff, and the way he's adapted his playing across the different eras and sounds.
They are different players, each epic in their own space.- 2

Anyone found a secret edition with a live disc included hidden under the floorboards yet??
Maybe up in the attic with that dancer who's seen better years.

Crap..how can I forget.
The latest AC/DC album. Almost like a blast from the past. Very strong record IMHO.

Tiles - 1999 Presence In Europe.
Which is an official release of 2 track board recordings from their 99 tour opening for DT. First time hearing it tonight. :) -
Yeah, Sabbath 13 was my album of the summer that year.

KK's Priest just doesn't sound like a good band name. Meh.
I appreciate his effort with the band he put together and the music. Fun stuff to listen to.- 1

I was going to drive up to Dayton, OH to see it. But real life got in the way.
So will watch it happen 3 times via NASA's streaming channel instead. Sigh.- 1

The last couple of Cheap Trick albums are tops.
You guys already mentioned Priest and Maiden, yeah.
Here's one:
Overkill - 'Scorched'. Released last year.
I'd argue that it's a better sounding album than the new Metallica record - and better songs too.- 2

You know I don't think I've seen a single post about this record that has anything other than admiration for it. Has any new album been so universally loved on here before?
Certainly no Rush record has been so universally loved on here.

Stern is still great. His recent interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Paul Giamatti, John 5, etc are excellent.
One could say what they will about his level or quality of humor. But he was always a great interviewer, even back in the day when he was on afternoons at K-Rock in NY. I barely remember his time on WNBC AM..so can't comment on his interviews/content from that phase.
But FM..he was killing it.

I have a feeling Wendys isn't going to have as many surges as they think they will.....

It's been 20 something years since I listened to Howard Stern. What does he even do on his show these days?
What are you wearing?
Except now it's creepy instead of cutting edge and funny.
I'm kidding. I haven't listened to him myself since 1989 - when he was still cutting edge and funny.- 1

It's all about the $$$. The corporations are making a lot of money because they still use the pandemic or supply chain baloney to justify the higher prices but that hasn't been the case for a while yet the daft still believe it.
Remember when gasoline was $4 US in 2008/9 - and the prices of everything went up because of it supposedly?
Then never came down again, even when the price of gas was less than half in 2015?
It's that same bullshit.- 2

The Counterparts album premiere.
Can you f***ing believe it's been 30 years? -
