  1. This is great, I love rediscovering tracks I've never payed attention to and finding out they rule!
  2. I meant to make a r40 tour setlist you would like to see out of songs not played on this tour
  3. I thinking about songs not played on this tour and had some fun constructing a setlist entirely out of songs left off this tour. I would like to see what others would come up with. The rules are: 1. Must follow reverse chronological order. 2. Have 120-140 minutes of material. 3. First set is 10 songs, Second set can be any number of songs long, and encore must be 4 songs. 4. First set must range from CA to Signals. 5. Second set must range From MP to 2112. 6. Encore must have 1 COS, 1 FBN and 2 Debut album songs. 7. No songs played on this tour may be used, except for 2112, which must be played as is on tour, which adds up to about 12 minutes of play time. 8. First 10 albums must have at least one song played off of them. 9. Must play songs off of 15 albums, no more no less. 10. First Set must Start with 3 CA songs. 11. Avoid Medleys and shortened forms of songs, except in encore where shortened forms of COS and FBN songs are allowed. 12. Leave 3-3 and half minutes for drum solo, other SHORT solos (one per member) are allowed. 13. 4 slots must be alternates, with 3 slots having one alternate and 1 slot having 2 alternates. My setlist: Set one: 1. Caravan 2. Carnies (short bass solo leading into) 3. Seven Cities of Gold 4. Vapor Trail/ Earthshine 5. Dreamline/ The Big Wheel 6. Show Don't Tell 7. Territories/ Manhattan Project/ Grand Designs 8. Kid Gloves (Very Short Electronic Drum Solo into) 9. Red Sector A 10. The Analog Kid Set two: 11. Limelight 12. Freewill 13. Entre Nous/ Different Strings 14. The Trees (Guitar Solo into) 15. La Villa Strangiatto (Drum Solo) 16. Circumstances 17. A Farewell To Kings 18. A Passage to Bangkok 19. 2112 Encore 20. Bastille Day 21. By Tor and the Snowdog 22. In the Mood 23. Finding My Way
  4. If they did Limelight over YYZ, set C would be best choice hands down.
  5. Set A easy. I love DEW and Red Barchetta is the song that convinced me to learn guitar and bass definitely in my top 10 Rush tunes, unlike YYZ, Nat sci, or TCE. I will admit Nat Sci is freaking amazing so if you hadn't seen it, theres a great draw!
  6. I got back, Alex is back! Also idk if its me, but they were louder than usual. On the plus side, Geds voice was amazing till it was worn out from 2112. Still better than previous tours afterward.
  7. I'm here at the show ready to have my face melted off.
  8. I wish I could get you to tge Houston show foe more comparison. Ill be there and an very interested in how it stands up. Either way its a Rush show and will kick ass.
  9. I'm heading to the Houston show and set A is my preference so if we get set C tonight I'll be a happy man.
  10. I actually enjoyed the tourbook a good deal. The goofy Neil pic alone is enough to make it great!
  11. Xanadu is their best super proggy song, Limelight is their best radio friendly one, and LVS is Alex's best guitar solo omg
  12. I only give A the edge because I loooooove Red Barchetta, but Between the Wheels is one of my faves from GUP
  13. They must have been smoking some weird shit during the RTB era... Bones werent the only things they were rolling :smoke:
  14. Final surprise of the night will be encore oh this should be interesting, I'm holding out for Bastille Day.
  15. I give 3.5 stars out of 5 Stephen Wilson reviewed it for a box set. Said Hemispheres was ponderous, Circ and Trees were meh, and LVS alone makes it their best album. Wilson's own music totally blows His review pisses me off, he was always too much of an old old old prog guy, Yes fanboy out the ass
  16. please keep WYD RUSH Hell to the yes, Working man has had its time
  17. Now im sweating for Xanadu! I have to see that song live please keep it Master Ged!
