  15. Bean! MISS YOU! "The GOLDEN AGE OF LEATHER!" BOC is one of the greatest bands in the land. They absolutely BLOW KANSAS AWAY! Like a "CANDLE IN THE WIND!" Signed, Elton John "Dust In The Wind" is a Norma Jean snooze booze fest!!! "Some Enchanted Evening!" This poll is an amazing soap box for me. It's all Mr. 1974's fault. Blue Oyster Cult makes Kansas look like a boring out of date state. ZILLAGOD! Are you kidding me? There is no violin in BOC music. JUST SERIOUS NEW YORK KICK ASS ROCK AND ROLL! Let's face it. Both bands were signed to CBS Records. Both bands were eventually dropped. Are you serious? The BOC catalog on CBS blows KANSAS out of the water!! Do you guys have the BOC BOX SET? It's rare and out of print! It's beyond EPIC! Get it?? CBS! Blue Oyster Cult is easily in my TOP TEN BANDS OF ALL TIME! KANSAS isn't even in the TOP 25. Steve Walsh is a weak Geddy. Jon Anderson is weaker. BOC has BALLS. KANSAS is pretty corporate prog. "Shooting Shark" is better than anything Kansas has written since "Audio Visions." Why the hell did Steve Morse join Kansas? To save their Kevin Bacon? Give me a break. Kansas is WEAK. CBS cut Kansas and MCA signed them. Two shitty records later MCA cut them! I still have my BOC "Imaginos" CBS cd pressing. A concept album that failed. CBS cut them too. Blue Oyster Cult is one of the greatest bands in the galaxy. I make sure to see them once or twice a year. Kansas is coming back to the Bay Area this year. I will be there too. I'm hoping it's "Point Of Know Return" live. Anyway it doesn't matter. I see BOC every year. They play at Santa Cruz for free on the beach. Two sets! FUKK YES! I remember seeing BOC at Slim's in SF one year. It was the "Mirrors" anniversary. They played many songs on that record. It made my life. "In Thee" and "The Virgil." Kansas wishes they could write songs like that. BOC is METAL! "Tyranny And Mutation" blows away anything Kansas as ever done. Are you kidding me??? I actually can't even believe this argument or poll. I need to move on from this. I will argue until the day I die about how much better BOC is to KANSAS. Chessy keyboard violin prog to serious New York Kick Ass Heavy Metal Up Your Ass Rock. I don't get it kids. Perhaps you should have put Jethro Tull Vs Kansas or perhaps Kansas Vs U.K. I will take Eddie Jobson over Robby Steinhardt. Ponty actually takes the cake. "Lust In The Wind" Aww--miss ya, too, Earl! :hi: Signed, Hi Fi Mama
  16. Happy birthday to a guy whose taste in music I really enjoy! S25S, it took me ages just to decide on a band ...but here's a little Cinderella to get your party started! http://youtu.be/6j7E7pvLxmI
  17. I'm happy to break this tie in favour of Blue Öyster Cult, a band that has long held a special place in my heart. Signed, Boned like a saint
