  1. IMHO Aqualung will always remain a strong contender for the 'Best Ever Album' highest position. And Under Wraps for the 'Worst Ever Album by a Classic Rock Band'
  2. It might be not the best official live release but, if I have to compare it to the many bootlegs I have, at the end of the day I have no problems listening to it. Having no record of that gig would be worse.
  3. Rather than a single scream I find much more impressive Gillan singing Space Truckin' final verse and Halford singing Freewheel Burning like a machine gun on high notes.
  4. Not the greatest of fan , but I have a couple of albums, a live DVD and I really enjoyed his show here in Milan in 1990. An entertaining bloke.
  5. my JT shirts: UK Tour 2004 (Living With The Past artwork printed in front) European Tour 2008 (Broadsword artwork in front)
  6. If someone stole all my rock and metal shirts I'd be then almost left without anything to wear over my belly.
  7. Thin Lizzy Gary Moore Rory Gallagher Van Morrison The Answer
  8. My quick analysis of Victim of Changes: Song structure: Sabbath for example had already developed complex compositions and Maiden went then further with Phantom of the Opera (but VoC remains an anthem) Sound: sharper cutting edges Voice: something never heard before (Halford being a more 'passionate screamer' than Gillan IMO) So for me Victim of Changes is clever METAL at his best
  9. La Villa Strangiato The Call Of Ktulu Wring That Neck
  10. Signals. But these would be IMHO the real contenders: The Number Of The Beast Screaming For Vengeance Broadsword And The Beast

    Cygnus X-1 Vinyl

A must have if I can grab a copy
  12. Phantom Of The Opera (my favourite Maiden track ever!) Murders In The Rue Morgue Charlotte The Harlot
  13. Sabotage. IMHO Mob Rules is even better than Heaven And Hell, but some tunes on Sabotage will always remain unique.
  14. Trying to quote John Lennon, "if it wasn't called Rock'n'Roll it should be called Chuck Berry" RIP CHUCK.
