  1. How can I choose? Superconductor. Love the message and agree 200%. I also love that triple key change at the end. Pure energy. Second Fav album next to 2112.
  2. Marathon, they are all great, but that corus in Marathon just hits my soul. Especially at the end, with that key change in that climax. I also like the bass line, the synth part during the solo, and that little spiral downward with the bells after the solo, smart ass music, but so simple. Only Rush. I have got it on right now and am floating above the computer in a musical extacy.
  3. I love the energy of Distant Early Warning and when Geddy does that "obsolete, ABSOLUTELY!!!". And I dig Neil (Happy Birthday) on the snare.
  4. QUOTE (NeilPeartFan2112 @ May 25 2005, 01:03 PM) QUOTE (Alsgalpal @ May 24 2005, 10:17 PM) QUOTE (NeilPeartFan2112 @ May 24 2005, 03:32 PM) http://www.smileys.ws/sm/sport/00000056.gif Those are so cute!!! En garde!! I was quite fond of them myself. Just like Bill.
  5. Fountain of Lamenth. The drumms, legnth, story, and guitars all rule this song. And It doesnt have the boring narrator The Necromancer has. Neil rocks this song, especially with his mini solo.
  6. Summertime blues because It is best to drum to. Every instrument sounds its best especially Neil's kit. Next is Heart Full of Soul. Every time Geddy Lee sings "I've got a Heart Full of soul" I get chills. All perfect covers. Any drummers contact me.
  7. One Little Victoryis like a train. It has an amazing intro. It says RUSH rocking and we are going to knock you on your A$$!!! Simple, Pure Power.
  8. Between Sun and Moon because it is rocking and listening to it gives your drummer over here an adrenaline every time I hear it. Adrenaline makes a drummer.
  9. It is a three way tie between The Weapon, Digital Man, and New World Man. I chose The Weapon because the half step up and down on the synthesiser in the beginning is chilling and yet so simple.
  10. YYZ or Tom Sawyer, but I had to choose 1 so YYZ because I am a drummer and YYZ is definately more fun Any drummers contact me.
  11. Spirit of the Radio. Lyrics & intro kick major tush. Drumming to the intro is amazing. Pearts different beats are amazing. But then again, theres Freewill and Natural Science. And Jacobs Ladder and different Strings!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any drummers contact me.
  12. The best RUSH instrumental. Followed extremely closely by YYZ on Exit...Stage Left.
  13. La Villa is one of the greatest songs is history. The song is coffee in a song. I just taught myself to drum to it. I just have trouble in a couple of areas. Any drummers contact me.
  14. Cyngus X-1 for I am a drummer and this is the best to drum to on the album. The beginning is the ultimate. 2nd would be Xanadu definatesy. Any drummers contact me.
  15. Every song on there is a beast, but 2112 totally takes the cake. Presentation (my favorite part) is an uplifting, ass kicking esperience every time with it's emotional bass line and guitar part and The Professor's lessons on drum fills, Overature is so unike and powerful, and Grand Finalie is a mind blowing spiral into an amazing conclusion. I could talk better with a fellow drummer on my favorite aspects of the song, but heres what I think for you all to hear. If theres any drummers, contact me.
  16. By-Tor-reasons 1) Great guitar solos (2nd is explosive w/ emotion) 2) Pratt does best on kit out of all 8 tracks 3) Lee shows great vocal range and power 4) They do a great job of portraying the battle and other scenes 5) Nice lyrecs (mythology/monsters make great Rock and Roll) 6) Plenty of song (longest w/ 8 minuts) 8) Detailed & most artistic
