  1. I made this mistake too. I rank III much higher than I used to. If nothing else, it has what IMNSHO is their best acoustic song (That's the Way). Plus, is there any better concert opener ever besides Immigrant Song?
  2. The poll of the debut albums between these acts inspired this, as this one is a more clear cut winner for me (III).
  3. Thanks for this info. I need to keep my eyes out for this.
  4. It may be because they do not come to my city, but I will likely take the chance of seeing only one show.
  5. I was starting to wonder when you would pop in on this. May I inquire as to your thoughts? Also, when was the last time I sent you an email? I would like to give you a status update regarding some things.
  6. I wonder if a 17 game schedule means this is the norm and not the exception.
  7. The ol' one half of football doesn't help. Neither does losing your best receiver to 1 of 2 current undefeated teams.
  8. She was the best Nurse Ratched ever. RIP.
  9. That roughing the kicker call at the end of the first half of the Packers-Vikings game might go in this category for me.
  10. I would be ECSTATIC if this happened. Given that a full show from one night has yet to appear on any of these releases, I won't hold my breath. A soundboard from this tour from a date that doesn't circulate would be the best. I will believe it when I see it. I DO wonder if they have something from the La Crosse date, since the touring history book references banter from the show.
  11. I want to live in Utah. (This comes from a guy about 1000 miles east with a house worth maybe half that and property taxes at 3k/year.)
  12. I hope we get a 40th anniversary box set that has a complete soundboard from a night that has no audience documentation. Given that this hasn't happened yet, I won't hold my breath. I will also add to Nova's point that I suspect GUP gets some sort of treatment because of the video (IIRC, it was said that all of the footage was found and that they were waiting out what was then the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD war).
  13. Given that only 3 songs on the debut really stick with me, I am unsure how many covers would have saved that. The best thing about the debut may be the drumming of John Rutsey.
  14. While he was not a major character in it, I much enjoyed his role in Wes Craven's 1985 film Chiller. RIP.
  15. I think it would have made more sense for them to give this a different name. Then again, I am not a Pantera fan (I am not convinced they were that much different than Led Zeppelin in a very real sense).
  16. This is the truth. I am sorry to hear this. Off to listen to Yes today.
  17. Teams are weird. So are fanbases. That move would not surprise me.
