  1. I would say cheating, but who cares. What amazing albums, and both double lp's.
  2. I had Killing Machine in my head as 79 for some reason. Dang, great year for Priest, and what progress too! Stained Class is my fav, but Killing Machine shows they had far more to them than what met the eye on the last four records. British Steel a couple years later made that obvious which Killing Machine had demonstrated. You're both right actually. Killing Machine was released in the UK in late 1978 and in the US in early 1979. Either way, they got two great albums done in a short span of time. Yea it does get confusing sometimes like Black Sabbath was 70 but paranoid was released 70 in UK but 71 in US
  3. All jokes on Rush aside, The YYNOT album is a great album, I really enjoyed it
  4. I forgot about Frank Zappa, my 2 favorites by him Frank Zappa - Uncle Meat / Hot Rats
  5. Dont forget The Least We Can Do is Wave to Each Other and H to He, Who Am the Only One also!
  6. Come to think of it, those two and Masked Rider and Ghost Rider were all presents so I’ve never actually bought a Peart book. Wow. Someone really hates you... Yeah yeah yeah. Someone hates me. Peart hates us all. Peart hates you. You hate Peart. What do you want now that you have it all? I'm craving a bagel right now... What kind?
  7. Rules: 1. No Rush (because I hate them) 2. As said in title, studio albums so not 1 studio and one live or compilation albums 3. Have fun Some that come to mind Yes - The Yes Album / Fragile Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath / Paranoid Queen - Queen II / Sheer Heart Attack
  8. Good to see you changed your ways. I used to think the debut was pretty horrible, but listening to it again it is a pretty solid album.
  9. 1. Hemispheres 2. Caress of Steel 3. Permanent Waves 4. Moving Pictures 5. Signals Top 2 are pretty consistent other than that everything changes
  10. But if you've already heard Firepower than no it isn't. I have and while it's certainly a top 3 album (so far), the year is still far from over. I agree, when Rush's new album comes out this year, and they have their 2018 tour live album, those will be the top 2
  11. One of the greatest singers of all time, what a voice she had. Rest in Peace :(
  12. Have listened to that Le Orme song twice now since I bought the album yesterday, totally awesome! Very sci-fi actually, which I dig. Will check the others out as well. Yea i saw u posted the Le Orme album I didnt notice so I removed it, but yea let me know what you think!
  13. Oh boy, I have some to share. Per Un Amico is one of the best out there. I love listening to very psychedelic and space like music, and these are great from Italy. Maybe not beginning points for Italian prog, but worth listening to eventually 100% http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InqNhh79or0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqZZwrc-BNM
  14. One of their most underrated songs to me, what a jam. How I wish I could have seen them live at this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkJcZVwyISU
  15. I have said this many times, I will say it again. Their first 5 albums to me are flawless and some of the best Jazz Rock albums you will ever find. Terry Kath is one of the most underrated guitar players of all time, and if he was alive longer could have been known as one of the greatest of all time (I mean even Jimi Hendrix said that Terry was a better guitar player than he was)
  16. Poem 58 is also another one I would go with Terry yet again is ruthless on it. I still think he is one of the most overlooked guitar players ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm5uvzedAZA
  17. 25 or 6 to 4 This version, I mean just look at Terry on the guitar, it is brutal
  18. Captain Beyond is an amazing album, I havent listened to the others though

    Who are you

I would say Tai Shan, because China is always singing to me
  20. Another band named T2 who made an amazing album in 1970 called "It Will All Work Out In Boomland"
  21. This is for me to remember some really good heavy metal albums of the late 60s and early 70s Feel free to give me some that you know also and I recommend listening to what I post also! First is High Tide, they released 2 albums from 1969-1970 then later in the 80s. Next is Lucifers Friend and they released many albums http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=socR0PArn-Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3VAOMJj3cg
