At the moment I only have one Rush t-shirt. It has the classic red logo from the first album :rush: A while ago I ordered a Hemispheres t-shirt which I hopefully will receive this week. Here's a picture of it: http://www.oldskoolhooligans.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/r/u/rushpittsburgh.jpg

I was at this concert, and when Geddy started singing the 2nd verse again I thought it was very funny. Good that he noticed he was singing the wrong verse that soon.

What Is Your Favourite Album By The Beatles?
Hemispheres4Echo replied to The Cat 3's topic in Music Of The Spheres
My favourite album by The Beatles is Abbey Road. I went to London, England in March 2014 and visited Abbey Road and walked across the zebra crossing. That was one of the greatest experiences of my life, to walk across the same zebra crossing as my all time number one favourite band. -

Black Sabbath Announce Final Tour
Hemispheres4Echo replied to Union 5-3992's topic in Music Of The Spheres
I saw them on the 13 tour in November 2013. Ozzy's vocals was awful, but Tony, Geezer and Tommy played like there was no tomorrow, so the show overall was awesome! I hope I'll be able to see them this time around! -
For younger Rush fans, what got you into these guys?
Hemispheres4Echo replied to djflex's topic in Rush
The very first Rush song I heard was The Spirit of Radio. Two classmates of mine played it to me and I got intrested in starting listening. At the time when I started listening to the band they had just been announced as headliners for Sweden Rock Festival 2013 which takes place about 70 km from my home. I got there to see them and it was amazing. The album Permanent Waves will always have a very special place in my heart since the first Rush song I heard is on that album, and it was also the first Rush album I bought a physical copy of. :rush: -
John Petrucci wrote this on his Facebook page yesterday: Hope everyone's summer has been awesome! Had a great time on DT's Euro festival run and we continue to work real hard on the new album. Couldn't be happier with the way it's coming out! Will have news to share very soon. Got some really cool announcements coming in the next couple of months as well. Lots of things in development. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Which RUSH Album Cover Or Logo Would You Have As A Tattoo?
Hemispheres4Echo replied to g under p's topic in Rush
I'm not a big fan of tattoos but if I were to get a Rush logo as a tattoo, it would probably be the one from the front cover of the debut -
Ian Paice Neil Peart Mike Mangini Ringo Starr Eric Singer

I didn't see a show in person but the best songs for me were Losing It, Jacob's Ladder, Hemispheres, Lakeside Park, Anthem and What you're doing. I think it was fantastic that they pulled these six songs out of the vault for this tour!

I'm 100% sure I'll go and see Geddy but I'm not sure about Alex, but I would probably go and see him as well. Also, I'm sure Geddy will record a solo album in the near future. Hope he'll play live as well!

LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN....ALREADY????
Hemispheres4Echo replied to glennb2112's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I feel the same. I'm sad I wasn't able to attend a show on this tour in person, but at least I have the Blu-Ray to look forward. Also, I feel happy about having seen them at all. It's not the distance. Do you men realize the cost involved in doing it? Sweden isn't down the road from North America you know. It would cost them millions just to transport equipment and crew. I understand that, and I'm fine with it. As I previously said, I have the Blu-Ray to look forward to and I'm glad of that. -

What a awesome performance... Man, I can´t believe this is true!!! This is a sad day.... But Geddy seem to enjoy it to much, so I think that the least we get will be a Geddy solo album. I also hope for a Geddy solo album. -
Here's an interview with James LaBrie and John Petrucci recorded backstage at Wacken Festival in Germany where DT played July 31st 2015. Petrucci says the recording of their new album has gone well and it will be released early next year. Personally, I can't wait! https://youtu.be/3mvoeDDAbDc

I don't think there will be any additional concerts on the R40 tour, and I'm fine with that, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Geddy solo album in the coming years.

Your Favorite Part(s) of the Show
Hemispheres4Echo replied to That One Guy's topic in R40 Tour Forum
I watched videos from the Houston show the other day and I noticed that after Neil's drum solo in the second set Geddy said "The professor on the drums" just like he did in the 70s. I thought that was quite cool. I think the best part of the show is the second set and the encore. -
I would recommend Permanent Waves

Any younger/newer Rush fans feel "late to the party?"
Hemispheres4Echo replied to MeanMeanPride's topic in Rush
I got into Rush in late 2012 and I was lucky enough to see them live in June 2013 on the Clockwork Angels Tour. As R40 might be their last major tour, I feel a little dissapointed that I won't be able to see them live one last time, but to be honest I am incredibly glad of having seen them at al!!!. Also, I am really happy that Rush cares so much about their fans and has recorded a live dvd on every tour since their come back in 2002 so that people who aren't able to attend a show in person also gets to see the tour. Thanks to that I've seen the Vapor Trails tour, R30, Snakes and Arrows, Time Machine and now I will also be able to see R40!!! -
