  12. Hello! I'm new to this forum, so maybe I should introduce myself. My name's Jakob and I'm 18 years old. I live in Sweden. I've been a fan of Rush for two years now and I love them. My favourite member is Neil, as I am a drummer myself. I've been playing the drums for 6 years now. I also play some guitar. My influences on the drums besides Neil includes Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Ringo Starr (The Beatles) and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin). When it comes to guitar I am very influenced by Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow) but also by a swedish guitarist named Janne Schaffer. He is famous for playing guitar on Abba's studio albums, but he's been playing with very many other artists, both in Sweden and internationally such as Toto and Bob Marley and in total he appears on 5000 (!) studio recordings. My favourite Rush album varies from time to time but right my top 3 Rush albums are: Hemispheres, Power Windows and Permanent Waves. Other favourite bands of mine besides Rush includes The Beatles, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Status Quo, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest etc. That's it for now!
