  1. I haven't found a thread about these guys yet so I'll start one :) . I have just got round to listening to their new single, Universal Death Squad, from their album coming out and it blew me away! I loved their previous stuff but this is just something else altogether in my opinion :D
  2. It must've been about £30 for Agent Fresco's "Destrier" album. Although it did come with a t-shirt :)
  3. Yesterday I bought "Bloom" by Caligula's Horse and "Profit" by the Jelly Jam :)
  4. Also my favourite lyric videos are Katatonia's for their latest album :)
  5. Steven Wilson's videos by Jess Cope are great and really fit the songs :D Between the Buried and Me's, The Coma Machine video is also really cool imo.
  6. Yeah it's a spoof website just to clarify. This was another of their articles http://thehardtimes.net/2016/06/24/irresponsible-musicians-leave-bassist-hot-van/
  7. http://thehardtimes.net/2016/07/25/dave-grohl-to-lead-all-male-sleater-kinney-reboot/
  8. I listened to Dark Adrenaline for the first time in a long time yesterday and it was great :D hoping to see them when they come to Newcastle:(
  9. Something like this maybe... 1) Limelight 2) The Camera Eye 3) Red Barchetta 4) Witch Hunt 5) Tom Sawyer 6) Vital Signs 7) YYZ
  10. This was a a few days ago but I'd bought a new CD and after listening to it once I put it in my CD drive and tried to rip it to my computer. And then when I take it out I see an error message that some of the tracks couldn't e found. I turned it over to see if there was any dust or grease on it and I found that my CD drive had shredded my CD... It was perfectly fine when I put it in and when I played it before :( Tip: Don't buy a Samsung SE-208DB
  11. EP I'll recommend you another since no-one else has yet :) . Riverside - Love, Fear & the Time Machine
  12. Progressive rock and metal. Also other genres of metal like doom and atmospheric metal but they generally have progressive elements too. The prog genre is so wide that it spreads across a lot of other genres as well which is great :)
  13. I'm so jealous of you (and anyone else) going to Be Prog. I can't for a number of reasons but it's the most perfect music festival I've ever seen. Ramblin Man isn't as good as last year imho and the ticket prices are far too high especially since they put them at full price as soon as they announced who would be on. Sorry, anyway enjoy them both :D I'm unfortunately doing things or can't go to the five music festivals I want this summer (well, one of them was last weekend) :( I agree than RM isn't as good as last year but there are still some good bands playing. I took a gamble and got tickets before they went up to full price. Also, as I have family that live within walking distance of the site I don't have any accommodation costs. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to go to Be Prog- I doubt that there will ever be an opportunity to go to a festival with a lineup like that again. My husband got me tickets for this as a belated birthday present and arranged for me to have time off work (something that I can't normally do during term time). I'm sorry that you aren't able to go to any of the festivals that you would like to go to this year. Maybe next year.... Yeah, the bands you listed at RMF this year are good but that'd probably be it for me apart from Thin Lizzy and Airbourne. I also do have relatives in Maidstone which is a bit of a coincidence Next year hopefully I'll go to Be Prog and maybe ArcTanGent depending on the lineup. I'm planning on going to quite a few concerts In October/November/December so that'll be fun :)
  14. I have a lot of eastern European friends who work hard and live honest lives. They are more than a tad concerned for their future and I worry for them myself. I did not see this outcome coming. I don't think anyone did. Not even the leave voters...

  16. Yeah, it's definitely not as good as La Villa or YYZ. Although they do manage all that without a bassist which is kinda amazing.
  17. Hopefully going to see Animals as Leaders with Plini as support in a couple of weeks :D
  18. Yesterday, I finished secondary school. I now have two months off school and no exams or anything to think about :dweez: :7up: :yay: :cheerleader:
  19. :( I don't understand why so many people voted against staying in. beats me. Scotland seems to be the only sensible country in the UK. I voted...not that it did much good 52% to 48% was very close call, though Yeah, it's virtually half and half really. It's gonna be interesting...

  21. Good, The EU is the scum of the earth. BTW, you didn't vote? Voting age is 18...
  22. We've now left the EU and I didn't even get a say in my own future... :(
