So what happened with the Rolling Stone photographer? They simply rearranged the photo so that Neil would feel comfortable and the photo would still look good. (Which it did. The photo appears in the book at the intro to that section, and I didn't think twice about it.)

I took the scenic route home after my errands and drove through gorgeous redwood forests. One of the most beautiful things in the world is a redwood forest just after it rains, with moss and ferns growing in the understory. The smell is incredible as well. And to make it even better, redwood forests here exist alongside live oak forests, another fantastically beautiful landscape. I'm so lucky that all of this is literally a couple miles from my house. I used to love Big Macs. The last time I had one (which was probably a dozen years ago, back when I still ate meat) it just tasted nasty. The only time I've been back to McDonald's since then was years ago to get fries and a Diet Coke.

I get the image - combination of what some see when they think of the Confederate flag and what would upset many who use the flag, It kind of works here but as part of your signature? Hmmm, you trying too hard to shock maybe? I wasn't trying to shock anyone. Simply making a statement about how easily some people get offended about a symbols or symbols. I had my ear pierced (left) for a long time but got tired of messing with it and haven't worn one in ages. If you or any other male want to wear one or more, get with it. The Nazi party is hatred, plain and simple, and any glorification or support of the Nazis is hatred as well. No reasonable person wants to see the Nazis (or the KKK, or other similar groups) receive any sort of positive recognition.
