I usually give sullysue each day's 10-year names right after midnight (in case she misses a day, she'll have that missing day's names on record), and when she saw Goob's name the following morning she told me she was excited to do a post for him. So when I saw you post about it before she had a chance to make hers I felt the need to poke you in the ribs. Didn't mean to make it seem like a punch. ;) Thanks. I will still steer clear regardless.... I don't want you to steer clear. :( It makes me feel better that someone is actually reading this thing! The 73 beat down regarding goobs just turned me off a bit. I may show up again at some point. Surprised me a bit to be honest. Unfortunately, Presto is where Rush dropped me off at the curb. It took me a while to re-discover them, and when I did I found The Rush Forum. :)

Rush won't ever "break up we need to remember that they have said they might still make albums without touring them. I And I'm so damn cool with this. Keep making the records. If you tour or play dates that's a bonus So am I. As far as I'm concerned, I've seen them for the last time in concert. AND, I had my kids with me to see it. They were the first concert I went to, and I may have seen them live for the last time here in Dallas. I'm happy with that. Nothing but meaningful and incredible memories. It's all good.

Rush won't ever "break up," but they'll retire like all of us will one day when we can no longer do our jobs to our fullest potential. I dread the day they come to that point. But, we need to remember that they have said they might still make albums without touring them. I'll need to be talked off the ledge when we truly lose one of them. The day they move to the next level of consciousness, if you know what I mean. They've been so much a part of who I am for so long, it will be like losing a close family member. That's when I'll need you guys the most. I get a strong feeling that The Rush Forum will still be around for that. I love all of you. My second family.

I want to dedicate a separate post for this guy: rushgoober (10) Goobs has been a key member of TRF from the beginning. I miss having him around here! He's one of my first and dearest TRF buds. omg.... Did you catch the collective moan going through the arena? If he had said Austin or San Antonio, no big deal. But, HOUSTON???? :tsk: He may as well have said ISIS. ***Houston and Dallas have a long-running and very hearty rivalry. Did he really say that instead of Dallas? Poor Geddy. He's not the first one to do that, and he won't be the last. the rest of Texas thinks they are basically the same place. You guys are killing me. Seriously.
