I'm glad to see that there is such a high demand for these tickets, but at the same time I am outraged at these ticket prices. For the CA tour, I was able to score the same tickets for half the price. I was unable to score anything in any of the pre-sales for Philly (even with refreshing at 10:00:00). General sale tickets for the Philly show have all sold out, and only platinum tickets are left.

I took a listen to it and couldn't find it; it very well may be there, I just can't hear it. I hear the guitar and synth mouthing "seems to me it's chemistry".

Although I really do care about the way the Bluray is edited (I could care less for changing the camera angle every two seconds), I'm more interested in how the audio mix is. Based on the trailer, I'd have to say that it sounds pretty darn good. I seriously hope they come out with a CD for it as they did with all the other videos!

How awesome is this! I have really high hopes for this remix; that album is full of so many good songs, but I don't listen that often because of that distortion. Now if we could get a release date on that live Clockwork Angels album...

Rush has always been my favorite band (duh, why I am I posting here) to listen to live. I kid you not, the whole experience is life-changing every time I see them live. I've seen many other concerts around my area, and they played well but it never felt like they were truly playing their best (as if to play just well enough to keep the fans happy). Typically $35.

If you want to see the official video, the link is http:// vimeo.com/67914987 (remove the space) with pass 'clockwork'. I keep on hoping watching it over and over again hoping for a release date.

Voted for you! I hope you win! I'll try to remember to vote every day. You definitely deserve to win; your site is arguably one of the best Rush websites out there (I am sure you are a comitted fan as well ;) ).

Yep, I remember that from Atlantic City as well. One had a Les Paul and the other had a Jazz Bass. I thought it was hilarious! :D

Can't remember if this is the same one or not. It is on RoadRunner Italy's channel: http://youtu.be/sYse9bPajhQ -
Where have you gotten the best deal on eyeglasses?
Freedom replied to Aikenrooster's topic in Random Samples
I've always gone to For Eyes and haven't had any problems with my glasses. However, their prices are not always the best. Their optometrists are also not very intelligent (at least where I am from) as I'm on my second one and both have been complete morons. From what I've seen online Costco is at the top, oddly enough. I use Costco for a lot of things but not vision. I like the store, but don't love it. If your local Costco is pretty close, I would go for it. You'll end up using your membership for other things as well (I'm assuming). They have decent deals on electronics among other things. -

Although I seriously do love La Villa (I love them all ), Leave That Thing Alone is my favorite; the bass on that song is incredible.

How many Rush shows have you been to?
Freedom replied to NaturalScientist75's topic in On The Lighted Stage
3 shows: Time Machine Tour in Camden & Clockwork Angels in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. I would have seen more if I was born earlier! For some stupid reason, checking to see if Rush actually toured didn't occur to me until I was about 16; really kicking myself on that one. I can't wait to see what they'll do after this tour! :D -
Massive Front-row Photo Gallery from Atlantic City

What great pics! Thanks for sharing! :ebert: Who's the guy holding the NJ card in pic 3? :) First I thought it was Gerry Hilera from the string ensemble but I could be totally wrong. -
It's time for Rocksmith if you want real instruments. I actually have tried Rocksmith and found it very confusing. I play (real) guitar on my own and am quite good at it (constantly learning Rush songs!). I like to play GH/RB though just for fun or with others who don't know how to play a real instrument with me.

Definitely. I would love to meet him, but I know that he isn't into fans that much so I would rather leave him be if I saw him. If I did meet him, I'd probably just be like: "beautiful day, isn't it?" He has his own thing between Ged and Alex and I respect that.

I've played it on Rock Band a few times. I prefer playing on real instruments though. :) What I found really cool was when I got Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock. It has the full 2112 (with the master track) narrated by the band. I love playing that every once in a while.

This is the new Rush according to the Associated Press: http://s14.postimg.org/7cz6ihxr5/newrush.png

Rush in Rio - Disc 2. I love these Vapor Trails songs played live! That's actually one of my favorites from the album now, but I can see it being a hard one to really get into. I overlooked it until they played it on this tour. :)

I think Countdown is a contender: Lit up with anticipation We arrive at the launching site The sky is still dark, nearing dawn On the Florida coastline Circling choppers slash the night With roving searchlight beams This magic day when super-science Mingles with the bright stuff of dreams Floodlit in the hazy distance The star of this unearthly show Venting vapours, like the breath Of a sleeping white dragon Crackling speakers, voices tense Resume the final count All systems check, T minus nine As the sun and the drama start to mount The air is charged A humid, motionless mass The crowds and the cameras, The cars full of spectators pass Excitement so thick you could cut it with a knife Technology...high, on the leading edge of life The earth beneath us starts to tremble With the spreading of a low black cloud A thunderous roar shakes the air Like the whole world exploding Scorching blast of golden fire As it slowly leaves the ground Tears away with a mighty force The air is shattered by the awesome sound Like a pillar of cloud The smoke lingers high in the air In fascination With the eyes of the world We stare...

Nothing special here, sorry. This is a still from the show (I cropped it from the inflatable figure in the intro). http://s22.postimg.org/n88ixp1u9/Rush_QR.png If you scan that, you will be directed to rush.com.

Definitely possible; the new stuff that they played did pop when I saw them last compared to the 80s tracks like Grand Designs. I also think that they just like to pull stuff out of the vault that they haven't played for a while to keep themselves interested. "Genius? To me, you are a genius. To O'Malley, you are a genius, but to a genius, you are no genius."
