I wont be taking Vlad Jr. as he is a keeper in both the leagues I play. If Harper goes to SF, dont stress! They would only sign him to a short term deal, and they will not contend in the next 2-3 years.

 

Oakland is going to be great this year once again - underrated lineup and beastly bullpen. Laureano and Chapman underrated, and I think Olson will settle in somewhere between his 2017 bonkers output and the minor letdown of 2018.

 

Meanwhile, my Pirates are remarkably frustrating to follow. We have a decent rotation, but it incredibly frustrating that we do absolutely nothing in free agency. Tampa looks like big spenders in comparison to us! Meanwhile, the rest of the division (with the exception of Chicago but they are still good) is trending upwards.

There is nothing wrong with the covers....but other than aesthetics there is nothing new and unique about them. His voice is annoying when he has to hold long notes...and a little bit of distortion on guitars during chorus....yawn....I like both of the original versions and nothing in these covers would inspire me to take a 2nd listen

I love the draw for SFA....Tech has been losing steam

My only gripe with The Musical Box is that the original recording is kinda muddy- poor production. But, it is fantastic, and wins in the competition.

Darvish is a better choice than Arrieta. Arrieta is trending down bigtime. World Series is a small sample size for Darvish, and evidently Astro's were on to him tipping pitches.
