At the very bottom of the black band that encircles the stick 1/3 of the way from the left would be the initials "NP" within the black paint in the natural wood color. This guy is scamming ebay. By the way, I know this because I have a pair of sticks used by Neil during the Snakes and Arrows Tour. Mine are beat all to hell, and at the bottom of the band is NP. DO NOT BID ON THIS! Actually, Neil didn't have the NP printed on the band of the stick until the Snakes and Arrows tour. Ever since then he's had them put on his personal sticks. Its hard to tell with stick models that are pre 2007 because there are no distinguishing markings like there are now. Lots of info on this site http://neilpeartdrumsticks.com/ I did not realize this...I suppose the auction could be legit then but there would be no way to tell for sure. You might just email Michael at neilpeartdrumsticks.com and ask him to check out the link at ebay. He may have a way to tell you something you could use to know for sure...i.e., distance of markings from end of stick, etc.

I laughed my ass off. A LOT of subtle grown-up humor mixed in with the stuff kids love. The movie is easily an 8/10.
