Absolutely :rush: -
Amazing talent, but a lot of cheese. They have felt more like Broadway than R & R IMHO.

This is just shitty as hell news. :|

It is such a shame that there are liars out there trying to rip off the public.

Who is the guy on Geddy's left? I think it's Billy Corgan...... not quite sure

Things will change for all of us after this Tour
vital signz replied to vital signz's topic in R40 Tour Forum
I was reading this thread again, and I was feeling sad, and then the R40 blu-ray I ordered arrived in the mail! BUT-- my wife stole it from me and said I have to wait until Christmas morning to open it! What should I do? Should I file for divorce? Wait until Christmas? Go rent a hotel room which has a blu-ray player and pick up another copy and just watch it there so she doesn't know? What do you guys think? I could use some advice. :( -
I think musicians know Ben did it better. Johnny 'performed' it better. He had way more energy. But the magic of Ben's tone and precisional playing suits Rush to a "T". Ben was phenomenal.

Drums are too low in the mix.

I was thinking Jacob's Ladder may have been it, however, this recording of Xanadu may be the single greatest live recorded song the guys have ever made. Seriously. Perfect tone, mix, talent, high definition video, great cinematography---Geesh, I think it moved....

Sad that Alex and Geddy were the best actors on the show. I do not see this show being around very long.

Hugely boring. Horrible show.

I cried like a baby the first time I heard Dog Years and the "clipping" in Vapor Trails

What's wrong with this painting? There' a bit of abstraction there, but that doesn't make it bad. Phooey on your art teacher--keep painting! Oh, please. That looks better than stuff I've seen on the walls at the Art Institute of Chicago. I reallllyyyy like this!

He was in Columbus...literally right next to me!

Saw them front row in Columbus. But when I was periscoping the Toronto 2nd night show and Geddy said, "We are gonna change things up a bit...welcome Mr Ben Mink to the stage..." I truly felt the urge to scream like a lil' girl. That was Epic to me. Best two moments were that and Jacob's Ladder in Columbus.

What Is the Rarest / Coolest Rush Item You Own?
vital signz replied to TheWatchMaker97's topic in Rush
A personalized message from Alex that he signed for me during Neil's drum solo during the Snakes and Arrows tour--on a photo of me holding my ES 355 Alex Lifeson model, and then had his guitar tech bring to me in the front row while he stood over me and played The Spirit of Radio while smiling as I opened up the envelope it was in... Best memory ever. I know he enjoyed that moment too because when I looked up and said thanks Alex, he mouthed, while smiling ear to ear, "your welcome" while playing the hell outta TSOR... I will never forget that moment ever. -
Maybe his glottis was warmed up / stretched out sufficiently by then. Nothing like a good ol' fashioned warmed-up glottis. With a side of uvula. "Your uvula has really gone to the dogs..." Yep...Geddy's workin' that uvula!!!!!
