  1. JR is a very strange human being, so... I have to agree with you on that one. He really is very strange.
  2. It looks like apple slices and peels around the tub, and the tub looks like it is full of farina
  3. This is one of the strangest anniversary threads ever.
  4. Two in one day. The earth must've stood still for a brief moment 11 years ago today. LABT gets two smooches :kisshug: :kisshug: And to anyone that can decipher Rick's post for me will get a glossy 8 x 10 pic of Debbie Gibson holding the latest Amon Duul CD! (whoever the hell they are. :eh: )    :kisshug: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
  5. Thanks for the input, Lorraine! I have wondered about wood but didn't know anyone who actually had it in their kitchen. Glad to hear that it works well. I think it's the best. Spills clean up easy, and you just use one of those wood cleaner things. I forget the name - there's two of them and you can buy them anywhere. It leaves the floor really shiny.
  6. You sound like Bathory. I am a bit of a misanthrope. Now you're talking shit.
  7. Alright. Let me give this a shot. It will keep me busy. 8. :hug2: I just got back from picking out my funeral cards. This is really getting bizarre. I often wonder who the person is that's doing all this stuff while holding normal conversations with people without being a basket case. I think you are incredibly brave. Huge respect. :hug2: I'm not brave. I'm taking the coward's way out. Brave is having the courage to suffer the ravages of chemo. I strongly disagree with this, but I'm not looking to challenge your definitions of courage :) Just to offer my support and let you know that I will always remember you with affection and great regard :hug2: Your lavender is a life-saver! :hug2:
  9. Thank you for your heartfelt post. :hug2: This is a very emotional time for me. Every day is a roller coaster ride.
  10. We had hardwood floors at the last place we lived. Easy to keep clean. Have you considered indoor/outdoor carpeting? That works well too.
  11. Rhyta just told me she told you that so you don't get a big head. :codger: She thinks you look better.  The reality is that Rhyta was so taken aback that she called her eye surgeon begging for the procedure to be reversed. ;) That was very funny.
  12. Come on, Goose. Don't be shy. How many candles are on that birthday cake? Do you have enough breath to blow them all out? http://youtu.be/_z-1fTlSDF0  :hi:
  13. That seems to be the general reaction, myself included. Well, my goodness. I was 10 years old when Satisfaction came out. I'm 67 now. They're still around. So, yes - this isn't easy to answer.
  14. Rhyta just told me she told you that so you don't get a big head. :codger: She thinks you look better.
  15. I'm so wrapped up in my own crap, Rhyta, that I didn't even see this. I am sorry. Glad all went well, and I'm sure the patch is gone by now. Is everything brighter and more clear? That was what my late brother noticed after his cataract operation.

  17. Hospice social worker came by today. She asked me where I wanted to die; I told her at the Hospice house. We filled out my Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney, so that's done. Hospice Nurse came by also and brought me a steroid prescription to give me an appetite and pep. I'll try one tomorrow, but I'm not to sure I want to be zipping around the house. I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep at night.
  18. Lol!!! I just saw this on my phone. They're being sued by a baby???
  19. It happened just as Rush were going to take the stage at the Toronto SARS benefit in 2003... Maybe that's what it was like when Charlie crossed over. Neil was there waiting to welcome him. And Keith and Ginger were arguing about who would be the next to shake his hand.
  20. Where's Rick? I know he loves this song too. :7up:
