    2016 had been mostly a bad year for many reasons I share with few. But I back it up with lots of good humor...... But 2017 looks to begin on a very positive note for me and my family. Not a kid..just a new beginning..so don't go there... I'd love to share but I would frighten most of you people !!

    In the new 2016 film 'Office Christmas Party' a Rush mention is an outtake at the end of the film. In the scene that made the film actor TJ Miller says 'I got a degree in Canadian Television Broadcasting and I minored in Drake' In the scene that was cut he said 'I got a degree in Canadian Television Broadcasting and I minored in Rush' ^^This scene is played as part of the blooper reel at the end of the film Still upset with whatever Hollywood Douche felt Drake was more Canadian than Rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a little dated now, since the only people that read REAL newspapers are Neil Peart at coffee shops SIDENOTE: For those under 30, a newspaper is a paper based printed blog that used to come out twice daily/ daily/ weekly or monthly when news was slow to obtain. You could also place tiny classified ads and make millions like I did

    I can hear some songs and can tell you where, when, the type of memory. It can be artists I rarely like, but that song, brings me to a certain memory. People who don't LOVE music don't get it. My best friend of 35 years is like that, we are on the same page on most topics. But when he grew up music/ radio/ concerts were of ZERO importance to him or his family. He likes music, but does not love any music. He can name an artist, but I am certain he has not purchased any music since he was in his teens.

    I didn't think it'd turn out like this either. I was expecting the Vai guitar duel scene in Crossroads complete with The Karate Kid Ralph making his dorky facial expressions during the solo. I think that guitar duel ruined Vai. Imagine losing a guitar duel to Ralph Macchio, even if it was just a movie. It had to have affected him!     Pyromania gets my vote despite 'Mirror Mirror' being my favorite DL song ever OFF High N Dry, and Hysteria came out my senior year of high school and I had 3 different girlfriends who loved that record. 1987-1988 was good times for sure
