  1. Wake up with a BETTER feeling, folks!
  2. fumigate it. Maybe! I have some poison fake worms (for moles). They may or may not work. I'm gonna sweep out the entire shed tomorrow. The varmints don't have long to live!! Wear a mask - you do NOT want to risk exposure to hantavirus, which is harbored in rodent poo. Preferably one of those P45 masks, but at least wear a surgical mask. Good advice!
  3. This is the alarm on my phone that gets me up every day...
  4. Pray that Comcast comes into the area and brings them up to speed. :hi: Yes, we have Comcast here in Saline.
  5. My Prayers will not stop until we hear from you again, Lorraine!
  6. :o I'd be interested in hearing this story, if you feel like telling it, ORF! I've only ever had opium in hash (in the mid-80s in Halifax). It was called "Kashmir", and cost around 20$/gram. My friends and I did about 3 hot-knives each (gross, I know) and were pretty baked for several hours. We listened to a Pink Floyd bootleg which sounded as if it was recorded underwater, and laughed our asses off. I was working at Ford at the time, but I had just fallen into the High end car stereo frenzy, and bought a Blaupunkt car cassette player, a 40 watt amplifier and 4 Tri-axial speakers for my New '79 Mustang Cobra Turbo, and a friend at work said if I would install his blaupunkt, he'd give me a ball of opium. it was nice and sticky, and the high was COOL. He loved his Blaupunkt, and I loved the opium!
  7. Sorry I didn't make your Birthday, Turbine! I'm SSSSOOOOOOO sorry, my friend!
  8. Wow. I missed your Birthday, Librarian! Forgive me!
  9. Intro 2, the intro to Women In Love off of VH II just a usual workout for Eddie V H, but another good one! Eddie uses harmonics with this one, and other classical idioms...
  10. Intro to Rock Bottom by KISS made by Ace Frehley off of 'Dressed To Kill' Most beautiful piece of music I've found as far as composition, structure, etc. And from one of the people I wasn't thinking of doing it, in KISS. Makes me tear up if I keep playing it over and over!
  11. You realize you may be waiting for a reply for a couple YEARS, right?
  12. I've always considered the Depression Era as the Golden Age of haute cuisine, just as the late 80s was the Golden Age of rock and roll. I have a box of Cream of Wheat in my Kitchen, along with it's chocolaty companion, Coco Wheats! Lumps or no lumps? Like any mix like these, it depends on how you make it. If you have any brains at all, it's pretty simple.
  13. I almost got to this post yesterday, but my internet went out at 10:45pm Sorry Laura bw! Happy 5th anni, doll!
  14. I remember when I had my 'Mini Stroke back in '09. I was talking in total aphasia, my left side of my body was 'asleep' feeling, and I just took a nap right then on my couch. I got up later and all the symtoms were gone exept for the left arm and side of my body feeling like it was asleep. The next day I made an apointment at my Dr.s, and he sent me to a neurologist. He gave me a laying splayed out thingie, and found I'd had a 'mini' stroke, and nothing more. but I could do anything I could to before, and I was understandably weirded out. Never had anything like that again, thankfully. But I can understand how bad that situation is. Prayers to you and your husband, Lorraine!
  15. Great Pic, GG! I wasn't around much when you introduced your son here, but wow! time marches on!
  16. Sorry I'm Late, RushRevisited, but I was about to reply to this thread last night, when Comcast was interupted in my area until 4 pm today. It went out at 10:45 pm last night. I've always loved your current avatar!! That is a TOTALLY JOHN LENNON style joke, ['snorting' Coke!] plus, it's time to DUMP TRUMP!
