  1. how nice that Les and Geddy are polite to Dave by pretending he's their equal. Really? Matthews is probably wondering who the f**k these old guys are. Dave's only 3-4 years younger than Les Yeah isn’t Dave like 50?
  2. I had no idea he was still alive either. RIP.
  3. Great pics. Kind of cool seeing him have a normal type life.
  4. Kinda sounded like a cat to me. But there were also other people there. You can see them when he passes through the room to where the interview was conducted. I thought it sounded like a cat too but it might’ve belonged to the person who was periscoping it.
  5. It’s been a year already? Where does the time go? :D Happy Anniversary!
  6. Thanks for posting that. Geddy Lee sure is an interesting, articulate and modest guy. You’re welcome and I agree. He seems like he’d be a great guy to have as a friend.
  7. Did you check my link? It works even if you don’t have periscope. Yes I did, but I didn't know I could watch it even though it said she stopped periscoping. How do I do that? You have to wait a minute for it to load but it just plays like a regular video.

  9. Always. I don’t care what other people think. Life is too short. :D
  10. Periscope link here. https://www.pscp.tv/hellspill/1vAxRMoBArPJl Just have to skip past the Hendrix stuff at the beginning. About 20 minutes in.
  11. Someone recorded it on periscope. You can watch it here. https://www.pscp.tv/hellspill/1vAxRMoBArPJl You have to skip 20 minutes in past the Hendrix stuff.
  12. Wow. Sorry to hear. Loved him in Soap and Benson and as Rafiki in The Lion King.
  13. Sunny and 96. So many snowbirds back already. Population of town has doubled in the past couple of weeks.
  14. I thought season 1 was pretty good but I don’t understand the huge hype for season 2. It wasn’t THAT amazing.
  15. Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great one. Sorry I missed it on the day.
  16. This. S&A was the last tour where he sounded good. I still enjoyed the hell out of every show I saw until the end, but the last three live releases are nearly unwatchable because his voice is too brutal to endure. The way he ruined the chorus to Marathon makes me sad. Poor Geddy... :( I really don't want anyone to run into him on the street and say: "Your voice sounds terrible now and you can't sing." I'm pretty sure that would break his heart. I’m sure he’s very aware of his vocal limitations now. He’s mentioned he started having problems even before Snakes. You can hear it on the album here and there where his voice breaks but it’s been covered up pretty well.

The way he ruined the chorus to Marathon makes me sad. I saw them near the beginning of the first leg of the Time Machine tour and I thought he sounded okay, although the dvd of that tour has vocal issues. Damn good show though - excellent set-list, beautiful weather, great sound system - a perfect night out. Marathon was a highlight! He got a virus that went into his ear. I remember an interview where he said he had to have his ear drained. Second half of the Time Machine tour was pretty iffy.
  18. That’s funny because of these choices, Gary Oldman has played the parts that I’ve liked the most. So I guess my vote goes to him.
