  1. Curious about people's thoughts on the Atmos mix, I checked it out on Apple Music through a good pair of headphones and the drums sounded like garbage. idk if something weird is going on in my system with the spatial conversion, but it made me very sad lol
  2. So I was at a punk show where they were projecting the Animal Planet Puppy Bowl on the whole stage (NYC shows are fun) and it got to the credits. The music/song credits scrolled, and something very familiar caught my eye: "Leave That Thing Alone" Rush, by Lee/Lifeson/Peart (or something very similar to that) It went by in a second so I wasn't able to get a photo, but was wondering if anybody here was watching and heard it used?
  3. They're not really rock, but Snarky Puppy is one of the most innovative groups probably to have ever come along, and they're only about 10 years old. I think though that there's plenty of amazing bands out there, but there isn't the mainstream media exposure to get them the coverage they need (even MTV was running Rush). Kids nowadays are way more open-minded thanks to the availability of music on YouTube and Spotify, so while rock may not be the hottest thing, it's still around. And back to the main question in terms of endearing fans, Bruce Springsteen is probably gonna keep touring until he dies. So there's that.
  4. I assumed it would be this gem
  5. So you want them to program Neil's drum parts with a drum machine......haha.....the machine would probably explode and come back with a "cannot compute" error message. This post is just dumb trying to downplay Neil's contribution to the band. Neil should just donate Doofus and Dingus, I'm sure between the two of them it can be pulled off
  6. Technically just a demo track for a drum simulator, but John Wesley nails the vocals.
  7. I think you guys are forgetting the clear best quote from this article: "So I switched to Humira and now I'm doing an ad for them." I'm more excited to see this commercial over some hope of a new tour
  8. I've never met this man, but during one of the between song fan photo montages, there was a guy in a turban, can't remember between which two songs. Was it him perhaps?
