  1. Did you think they were showing the Power Windows tour? I saw the tour 5 times and still couldn't get it right. Young people: don't do (too many) drugs.
  2. I attended with my daughter, and like everyone else, I was unhappily surprised to see them start with the post-intermission songs. I was waiting for The Big Money to start the show. 90% of the theater treated it like a movie; the other 10% of us treated it like a concert.
  3. I guarantee that they will only sign one item. I sent my CofS album with silver paint pen addressed to my mother's home and my GUP album with fine black sharpie addressed to my home. I received the GUP album beautifully signed by all 3 (AND THEY ALWAYS PERSONALIZE) and I received the CofS album unsigned , but oddly, also sent back to my home address. They know what they're doing.
  4. I have been a :rush: fan since 1976. First saw them as the opening band (of 3) on a bill with Robin Trower. By the time the summer leg of this tour is over, I will have seen them 32 times. Regarding newbies, my 11 yo daughter will have 5 :rush: shows under her belt by the time this tour ends. I, for one, welcome all :rush: fans ... Those in "the know" and those just now discovering. I also love that I have "known something special" for nearly 4 decades and love to share and nurture newbies with my experiences and passion.
  5. :rush: fans were always smart enough to disregard what the critics had to say (or NOT say) and it will be just as easy to disregard you. yes, now you have both - a rectum and an opinion ... can't tell which is which.
  6. :rush: I was at both the Philly and the Montreal shows and he sang "Phillies cap" and "Expos cap" appropriately. :rush:
  7. Hi Halfway, On Friday morning, I tried TcketMaster and got 3 seats in Section 102, on Geddy's side. That will do for us, since we (my daughter and I) got VIP seats for Baltimore. Patiently waiting for VIP Nation pre-sale for Hershey and Boston. Thanks! :rush: fans are the best.
  8. :rush: SHOW OF HANDS for about the past month. Just got tix for both Atlantic City and Baltimore, so will switch back to the CD I created consisting of all songs from Setlists A and B. :rush:
  9. Hi, Due to some ass hat at work today, I missed the VIP PreSale for the Atlantic City show. If anyone has one for sale, please let me know. You can even keep the swag if you so desire. THANKS!!!!!
  10. They did their 'A' Setlist in Philly, so I did not get to see Manhattan Project or 7 COG. But 6 days later, in Montreal, they performed their 'B' Setlist and I got to see/hear them both. The God of Balance was working on my side.
  11. I have the :rush: 2112 AP Litho, # 7/50. Paid $310 for it 2 years ago. One of my better purchases.
  12. I was fortunate. I sent my Grace Under Pressure album to Seattle and got it back 9 days later, signed by all 3. That was the cherry-on-top of an amazing 2012 :rush: year.
  13. I purchased 7 VIP Packages between the Philly and Montreal shows, and thus ended up with 7 Tour Shirts, 7 Tour Books, 7 Posters, 7 Bags and 70 Picks. So I wondered ... what to do with them??? I peeked at ebay and saw multiple listings for the VIP swag at $80. each. Haven't done it yet but that can help recoup some of the $2175 I've spent only on tix so far. Add show merch and travel to Canada for a 4-day weekend and well,, here I am. Only for :rush: And am ready to do it again this spring and summer. :rush:
  14. An earlier post indicated that Houston would forward mail to the band. ** I sent one LP cover to Seattle and got that back a week later, signed (and personalized) by all three. Seeing my success, my wife and daughter will both be sending merch to the Houston venue.
  15. The review was nothing but self-serving. He simply showed how much of a douch he is. POP?
  16. I am from just outside Philly. Nothing metered. All stamps. It went Priority automatically, due to size.
  17. :rush: Sent my GRACE UNDER PRESSURE Album Cover to Seattle and got it back today, personalized and signed by all 3. Psyched. Totally friggin' psyched. THANK YOU to the world's greatest band, who clearly love to give back. Time for my RUSH tat. :7up: :smoke: :D :rush:
  18. I received an email on 09-Nov telling me I'd get my SWAG (from the 12-Oct Philly show) on 16-Nov. It arrived yesterday as indicated. I received an email on 12-Nov telling me I'd get my SWAG (from the 18-Oct Montreal show) on 20-Nov. Have faith, my friends (and PATIENCE).
  19. I sent an email to VIP Nation on 08-Nov. They replied the same day indicating my Philly Show Swag was processed on 05-Nov. I received an email yesterday (12-Nov) indicating shipment of my VIP Swag from the 12-Oct Philly show. Today (13-Nov) I received an email indicating shipment of my VIP Swag from the 18-Oct Montreal show. We'll see.
  20. Still waiting for my SWAG from the 12-Oct Philly show and the 18-Oct Montreal show. WIll update when I get them.
  21. Thank you, eddiescott98. Excellent. Psyched.
  22. Just curious if anyone has contacted any of the US arenas from the 13-Nov show onward? If anyone does, maybe you can share what the arena said (will forward / will not forward). Thanks in advance.
  23. I took my daughter to her first RUSH show at 8 years old. She enjoyed the music, but had no ideas what she was seeing. For the CA Tour, we listened to the CD together, discussed the concept and kept psyching each other out for the show. Drove up to Montreal from Philly and found out that we landed 11th row Center. Kept looking over at her during the show. She was doe-eyed, almost in disbelief at what she was seeing. She just kept saying "just 3 guys?". To which I proudly replied "Yes, just 3 guys". It appears that her knowledge of the music really helped her enjoy the show (she plays violin, so she loved the strings). Plus, is all we listen to at home, so she was well exposed to the entire setlist.
  24. Glad I am not the only one. Just got back from seeing them in Montreal, 11th Row. (A little tough after Front Row in Philly), but I got to hear 2 of my faves, which they did not play in Philly: 7COG and Manhattan Project. Had my 10 yo old daughter with me, and from time to time, I would look over at her standing on her chair. She was doe-eyed, almost in disbelief at what she was seeing. Can't say she's got it, but she's getting it.
