    Way too many to list.

    All of them
  • Best Rush Experience
Saw them at The Agora in Cleveland in I think 75 when they were basically unheard of at that time (other than WMMS listeners) except an obvious great up and coming band. Small club, raw show and I was one of the first people to see them live in the states.

Dream Theater, Symphony X, Alter Bridge just to name a few.
  • Musical Instruments You Play
Used to play but not anymore.

  1. After reading this entire thread, I can't believe all the so called, educated Rush fans bitching and complaining about this set list. Some of you have zero clue ( you know who you are too) if you think anything other than it's ALL about Ged's pipes. I don't want to hear him sing anything pretty much from the 70's anymore. I'd rather hear him sing in a range where he can handle it and sound good LIVE. Get a grip people. If you're a Rush fan, how can you complain about anything they play at this stage of their careers. Be grateful they are even touring anymore. If you dont like it, pretend they already retired and the fans that appreciate them still killing it, will go to the show. The set list is great for their age, Ged's vocal ability (he's almost 60 for cripes sake) and something just a little bit different that we haven't heard .....forever?
  2. Lol... Bro, why not tell us what you really think. I actually agree with everything you said.

Maybe they're saving their 70s staples for R40? That's my guess, but your complaints are purely valid for discussion. New here, but LONG time fan. Been to so many Rush concerts I lost count. While everyone has valid points and opinions, it's quite obvious to me that this set list is all about Ged's range an vocal ability at this time. I can't even fathom him singing "much" from the 70's anymore without sounding strained, nasally or just plain bad. What about Cinderella Man? His vocals are pretty low on that song and even the high parts aren't all that high... i was hoping for that one also. That's one of my absolute faves and I completely agree with you. I can't ever remember hearing that live either. They do so many overdubs already that I wonder why they don't ever play this. I only wish Geddy could belt it out like He used to, but I really do like ths set list a lot. I also almost feel like this show is for the diehards and ones who have followed them from their start and through the lean years in some circles of opinions. For me, there's never been lean years, but more experimentation then anything. Rush has always evolved in their sound and style. This is one of the things I love about this band......waiting for what comes next.
