  1. The real question is, would you rather have an opening band for about an hour? Then listen too 2 hours of Rush? Then an hour of that being CA, along with a break, a couple songs and an encore? They sound great, their playing the new album, and seem to be up for further projects! What's the problem! Just enjoy it!
  2. The Columbus, Ohio Nationwide Arena show was full! They will do very well! "If you book them, they will come!"
  3. I'm about 3/4 of the way through reading the book. From what I can tell, the book lines up with the music perfectly ( album wise, but not so much with the live setlist ) I realize everyone has their own interpretation, but I think it's dead on. You can tell Neil ( and from what I have read ), made sure everything comes together.
  4. QUOTE (workingman @ Sep 25 2012, 08:31 PM) QUOTE (jasonw2112 @ Sep 25 2012, 04:45 PM) I got it!!!!! My holy grail, of all signatures! I sent an 8x10 photo, along with a postcard with the Grace Under Pressure artwork. They signed the postcard, and spelled my name jayson? But that's fine by me! I'm just happy I got something back! Many thanks to those who provided all the info on getting their signatures! Dude, that's hilarious because THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME. My name is Jason also and Neil mis-spelled my name as "Jayson" when he sign one of his books I sent. Funny and unique, sort of. Well I checked via Google! It is a valid alternate to the spelling! I guess if someone told him to make it out to Jason, but not knowing which spelling to use, than it is correct! So it's not a matter of "he can't spell!", just a different way I guess! New one for me!

If I got something back, I'm sure yours is right behind it!

  7. I sent an 8x10 photo to the the Columbus show, about 5 days in advance. It shows it was recieved in about a day. However I have not recieved it back yet, so maybe it's a case of snail mail! I live about 50 miles from Columbus, it should have showed up by now....
  8. Sweet! Thanks for posting! I couldn't sneak anything in! But once inside no one cared if you were taking pictures, or recording anything, at floor level.
  9. The presale is the best thing to ever happen to their ticket sales! When they first started them around the VP tour, you actually have to answer a fan question. It wasn't perfect (and still isn't). But other than not knowing where in the first 15th rows you may be, I consider it much easier to get a floor level seat, without using a scalper. I know there are many here who will pay the money to scalpers (why people call them brokers, I don't know!), and that's fine. But if fans would stop buying from them, they would go under. I know it will never happen, but I refuse to buy from scalpers! I've managed to get 25th row, center stage, for tonight's show, at regular ticket ptice. I can live with that!
  10. They have played it live before, its been a while, but I'm sure they could. LA VILLA is much harder too play, so I think it's just a matter of preference.
  11. T4E I rember them having alot of small scale satellites on stage, along with lasers. I think they used the satellites to reflect the laser beams during different parts of the show. I cannot remember any pyro, but I would think they would have, for some of the Counterparts songs. I would have to dig out the bootleg vhs to check, but I no longer have a working VCR!
  12. I had a problem with the same type of assholes at the TM tour (somehow I've avoided them all these years). What pissed me off the most was them leaving their seats every other song! I mean here I am with my wife, with floor level seats, 20th row, and these guys are screwing around! Really! What are they here for? Well then they decide to leave there seats right in the middle of "Through the Camera Eye", I flipped out! They have never played it live, and dammit, I wanted too enjoy the moment! I should know better, and I'm not a hot head, but my wife had to calm me down! Lol! I was ready to throw down! They ended up apologizing, and never leaving their drunken seats after that. I don't have a problem with someone having a beer or two, and enjoying the show. But what is the point of spending all that money for good seats, then getting smashed, before the show even starts? I mean you shouldn't have to get drunk to enjoy a Rush concert! By the way, I'm 35, I do not drink, and when I go to any concert, I want to enjoy, and remember the moment of music. Pretty simple concept! Although if you want to light a joint, and be cool, than I'm cool to! Lol
  13. QUOTE (aviateur55 @ Sep 15 2012, 10:47 PM) I approached the tech alone, my seat was right above where he had his work station, before the Cleveland show that they taped last spring. Politely asked for a pick, his reply was a sharp no, if I give you one I have to give everyone else one, I replied, nobody else is around or would even notice, he said no I can't. Well that sucks, but I guess that's the way it is! But! They some how get in the hands of guitar pick "salesman" so the system is breaking down somewhere!
