  1. I have been a fan since 1983. I last saw them on the Hold Your Fire tour. I was in Manchester last night and had a very mixed reaction. I hated the first set. To me, Power Windows is the low point in the Rush Catalog. Looking back at the setlist, maybe hated is too strong as I enjoyed most of it. I really enjoyed: Subdivision Force Ten The Body Electric The Analog Kid Bravado Where's My Thing Far Cry The first set seemed to have a weird vibe. Maybe it was because the section I was in seemed to lose interest after Big Money. The CA set was amazing an I would go back and see that again. Manhattan Project is one of the two songs from Power windows I can stomach so that was good. Red Sector A was nice. Working Man was great. I didn't mind the lack of staples at all, in fact I would have been OK if they dropped Tom Sawyer and TSOR. I thought dropping some staples would make room for some other tracks. I just didn't like the heavy Power Windows choices to replace staples.
  2. 12 hours until the show starts, no real leaks. I have never been to opening night before and because of the internet, I always had an idea of the set list before a show. I guess I will go into this one no real expectations other than a bunch of CA. As far as I am concerned, the more of CA the better. The rest will be great no matter what. Anybody else going to Manchester tonight, have a great time! I know Rush will make it a great show.
  3. Nobody's Hero- Second Nature- Losing It- All three in the same show? My guess is that Nobody's Hero will be played most nights. Second Nature and Losing It seem like ideal candidates to swap from night to night. But what the heck do I know, I would have bet $100 that wouldn't ever include Entre Nous on a tour... I haven't seen Rush since the Hold Your Fire tour almost 25 years ago. I want to hear CA loud and raw...everything else is a bonus.
  4. I would love to see By-tor or the Necromancer, but I doubt that would happen. I am betting on one shorty from the early days like Anthem, Beneath, Between and Behind, Finding My Way or Bastille Day. I will be there tomorrow to find out!
