FINALLY! I have some photos of my "sweet ride". As you can tell I need to order a new mirror. As I am sure you can imagine wet roads and rear-wheel drive mopeds don't exactly mix. There is a close up of the spedometer. It claims it can do sixty. I thought that this was one of the things companies do. Turns out mine has a small computer in it that keeps it from going over forty. One day while driving home, it was raining and it was really cold. I was coming over the top of the hill, when I hear a "Chinkca","pop", and "BAha". When the thing speeds up. I look down and see that i am doing around fifty five. I start screaming, and then fly off into the ditch. The bike slams around for a minute, (the throttle got stuck in the process) and then dies. I had gotten thrown to the other side of the road. My ribs were bruised pretty badly and my front wheel was bent. I got a ride from the nieghbor to my grandparents. Apparently the repair was upwards of a hundred dollars and am going to "work it off" with my grandfathers masonry company this summer. anyway have a gander. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/jharney/Moped1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/jharney/Moped1.jpghttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/jharney/moped3.jpg

Well my digital camera isn't operational at the moment but a Google search came up with my moped exactly. This is what my moped looked like Brand new when I got it. It was sitting in my garage one night, (birthday present) with four miles on it. Now it has roughly two thousand. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y155/jharney/scooter.jpg Now subtract a mirror, add some scratches, and dents and cracks and you'll have my lil' buddy. (I will post a real pic ASAP) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now for what I am buying for when I turn sixteen in May an 94 - 96 Impala Super Sport.

Nirvana- I was first introduced to Nirvana through a mixed CD my uncle made for me at twelve. I really loved "Litium". I had no idea what the song was, but eventually found out. After that he gave me the "Nevermind" album. Which I loved the just, primal fury, and anger that flowed out of Cobain's mouth, and the guitar. OH OH and the drumming. Yes it is all mindlessly simple. But that is the point. It was loud and it was, mad. I then started branching out into the nirvana only to be indulge into it's later "Folky Grunge" sound. I loved it.

What's your excuse for a Friday night?
JakeofThePlace replied to barney_rebel's topic in Random Samples
Actually just got home from a great friday night. Last home game of the season so of course it was a total turn out. I hung out with the Pep/Marching band. Seniors got to dress in costumes. A couple of the guys that graduated last year visited. It was alot of fun. After words, we headed out to a party. Pop an grilled food was readily avalible. Looked over one of the guys comic, he runs it off of his dorm wall. Played with fire. Now I am gonna let the caffine go thru my system, then go to sleep, then go to work. DAMN. -
