  1. South Korean football club apologizes for filling stands with 'sex dolls' Apparently sex dummies need to wear masks and practice social distancing too. I like the fact that they put one sex doll bro in there. lol.

  3. The only possible weak link on the album for me is Hot Dog. I heard Wienerschnitzel is suing them. I prefer "Hot Dog And A Shake." Love, David Lee Roth

  8. My comment said starting with Test For Echo. Most people agree that Presto, half of Roll the Bones, and Counterparts are terrific records. You can count me out on Counterparts.
  9. I actually have a physical copy of that in the house but haven't popped it in yet. It's a library DVD. I have 7 other library items too. Had them for 2+ months now because of covid. My account page on the library's website says they're due on 7/1/20. The due date has been moved back several times now.
  10. Kanopy is awesome even if it’s only 3 credits per month and a limited selection of studios like Paramount,A24,Sony Classics and Bleecker. Tubi and Vudu are nice as well and Crackle has lots of Sony. Raiders Of The Lost Ark (Rifftrax audio commentary) Kanopy is great. I'm just discovering it and realizing it's where many of the small, boutique, prestige films end up, many of which are made by the studios you listed. I'm kind of surprised you only get 3 credits a month, though. I guess it varies from one library system to the next. I get 9 credits a month though the Los Angeles Public Library plus lots of credit free viewing. In fact, I just watched Silicon Cowboys credit free. Hoopla, which I also get through LAPL, has a decent selection, too. I get a crazy 15 credits per month with that one. There's no way I'll ever even come close to using all the combined credits of these services in any given month.
  11. There are a dizzying array of streaming services now, many of which are on this just published list from PCMag.com. The article describes each service's content and gives their fees. Several are free ad supported. Not on the list are Kanopy and Hoopla which you can get with your library card number and PIN (I'm guessing in the US only).

  13. I'll jump on the bandwagon. I loved the Devore, CA show. Side 1 of 2112? Are you kidding me? I was at the San Diego show 2 nights before. Opening night of the 2nd leg. Also saw the first leg also in San Diego. I thought both shows killed. I saw the Gorge, WA, show, which was incredible. I caught them in Potland, too. Potland? lol. I think Ged and Al have summer homes there, as well. :D-13:
  14. Another case of two musicians born to be together but can't stand working with each other. Sometimes I wonder if it's the heat and pressure of that dynamic that creates the diamonds. Oh you have just left yourself wide open my friend!!!! HAHAHAHA! Don't you mean...... "SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND!" LOL!!!! I prefer Neil Diamond!!! lol LEGS DIAMOND? DIAMOND DAVE?
  15. You're not going grocery shopping at all? He lives on on musical notes that his ears convert to proteins vitamins and minerals. And the more coarse musical notes, the ones that make up rap, punk rock and extreme metal, for example, are a great source of dietary fiber.
  16. An instructional entry: Setting the intonation of an electric guitar - or the long version of the beginning of Discovery. (Yes, I know that was an acoustic). The segment is 22 minutes long but there is some good learnin' here about the methodology and its intricacies if you are so inclined. From 35:20 to 57:20 http://youtu.be/_ASbZJm0Tmg
  17. The Door County Coastal Byway in Wisconsin (Incidentally, most roads in Wisconsin look like this after last call on a Saturday night .)

  19. Desert rose of Qatar International Museum Day brings us to Qatar, a small but wealthy nation on the Arabian Peninsula, surrounded by the waters of the Persian Gulf and bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south. In the capital city of Doha you'll find its national museum, shown here, which opened in March 2019. This elaborate building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, who sourced his inspiration from the desert rose crystal. Look closely and amid the futuristic interlocking disks of the new museum you'll see the early 20th-century Old Amiri Palace, once home of the Emir of Qatar, surrounded by a courtyard of palm trees.
  20. It's too bad. Joel is a monster and he did seem like a perfect fit for them but this band has Spinal Tap level issues keeping a skinsman onboard. Now it looks like this dude from Milwaukee is their new guy. He has his own studio he can record his drums in which is something Joel didn't have. They were supposed to do a gig with him but the pandemic took care of those plans.
  21. $300 for session work is very reasonable. I doubt top session guys would even get out of bed for that price.
