You beat me to it by a little bit :)
-
if they come to Boston I can get backstage passes. They pre-announced Boston. What gives?!?
-
I actually loved the current tour - I've never seen anything like it. I'd take the artistic quality of now over the crazy lights of before. I felt like I went to a show and also an art gallery at the same time. If I couldn't have heard a note CA would have been an awesome show. I really was impressed. We didn't get the crazy pyro in Boston though :eyeroll:

It would be nice if they had pit tickets. Saw Maiden last time in the pit and it was the BEST way to ever see a show.

Odd that they are announced in English in Germany. Sounds great though!!! -
Wow. Listen to this set list and Geddy's voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT5YMFlqx44

The Seeker and Mr. Soul. Just kidding. Tom Sawyer, Limelight, YYZ. What about the last song where they all do something together? Working Man...

Rush for Super Bowl 1/2 time show 2014

This would be the only halftime show I'd watch. I didn't even watch the kidney Stones a few years back. If this happened it would be epic enough to have people talking more about it than the lame commercials. But it won't ever happen. The world is too messed up to allow for such awesomeness. -
Sorry - I missed the special edition 2112 thing.

I'm not sure what this is about or I'm simply missing something... http://www.rush.com/...-album-cover-2/

Dressing up as steam-punk characters.

If you dress up in something amazing or crazy and you're near the front, chances are you'll get stick treats from a roadie. -
I miss that show...

Most miserable person you've seen at a Rush show?

I took my wife to CA - I previously took her to the Vapor Trails opening night in Hartford, CT and she was into it. That was a really special night. For the CA tour, it's a long show. She knew most of the first set and was generally pretty happy. We were on our feet the entire show as we were on the floor. After intermission I could tell she wasn't comfortable standing for that long. She didn't know the material, but the light/video stuff seemed to make up for some of that for her. In the end, it was a bit too long for her - not knowing the new album at all. She was ready to leave before the encore, but we stayed for the whole thing and left during the exit video. I'm not sure she would go to another show, but that's okay. I'll be at the next one around here. -
Newark show question & thoughts... (SPOILERS!!!)

Hey - I saw your "No Hockey" sign up front in Boston! -
I liked the three because they were a bit of a surprise how they were worked in. I actually LOVED the electronic solo - I hope that comes out (released). Or if someone has an MP3 of it that would be nice.

If you could see rush twice, would you?
edolecki replied to Aikenrooster's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I would go to every show if I could. -
My wife would be pissed as she was asking me about Limelight at the Boston show only to hear that it could have been played in Buffalo the next evening. I prefer Middletown Dreams to Limelight personally because I've heard Limelight live a hundred times. MD was awesome.

30 new US dates? That's like adding another full tour to the one in progress. Hard to imagine.

I saw a girl with purple hair a few rows ahead of me - at least I think it was purple. Long and straight.

3: This show is a marathon... epic and so much to take in visually and sonically. Even with the intermission, it's a lot of steak to choke down. Today I want to experience it all again, but during I was freaking wiped out (in a great way). I don't know how they rocked so freaking hard in Boston and keep on doing it basically every other night. Amazing.

A little taste - I love when Neil is pounding and things start shaking.

Yes they played SCoG and I was happy and surprised.
