  2. QUOTE (mmm_donuts @ Oct 9 2012, 06:29 PM) QUOTE (thirteen @ Oct 9 2012, 05:20 PM) I'll only be in the States for 5 days. I can only afford 1 concert. Damn poverty lol. For this guy's dedication, hopefully someone could comp him a ticket to another concert while he's here. I don't live in CA, so I can't help. For a 14 hour flight, the guy deserves more than one concert. I can't get ya another show, but I will get you a beer! I'll be there for that show in Anaheim too.
  3. QUOTE (presto123 @ Sep 15 2012, 01:30 AM) QUOTE (The Trees @ Sep 14 2012, 10:52 PM) Between the Wheels, Stick It Out, and Far Cry would be my choices. Between The Wheels? WTF. That is Alex's best solo of all time. I can think of any number of other solos that are far better in my opinion: Freewill, La Villa, Working Man, Headlong Flight, By Tor. Even after listening to it two times in a row, it just doesn't do it for me. I'm glad you like Between The Wheels though, and I'm certainly not going to WTF you back.
  4. My first CD was Invisible Touch by Genesis. It's still a classic and gets played often.
  5. La Villa Strangiato Xanadu Natural Science Workin' Them Angels The Spirit Of Radio
  6. I voted for the older medley though I'm not sure Geddy could pull it off these days. I'd also be happy with Xanadu. But if I had my way, it would be Out Of The Cradle, then save Xanadu for the closer in the encore.
  7. Between the Wheels, Stick It Out, and Far Cry would be my choices.
  8. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Sep 10 2012, 04:36 AM) I was thinking last night, after all the bitching and moaning I've done about the set lists that these guys have really gone out of their way to ensure us fans have a great experience once again. Call it a moment of clarity on my part or whatever but these guys are really great to us. Not only are they providing us with 3 hours of music but they took it a step further and prepares another half hour worth of music so us fans that attend more than one show have something different to experience. Other bands would just provide us with an hour and a half of the same set night after night and not give a shit about it, Not Rush! With RUSH you always get more and with these guys hitting 60 it truly is a gift from the heart! Bravo guys! You truly are the best band in rock history! That's why they are the best, eh.
  9. I got 14 songs correct. Not bad, but I don't think there are many people that predicted so many Power Windows songs. I did get WTW, TG, and Dreamline in the correct order for setlist B.
  10. QUOTE (Between The Beers @ Sep 8 2012, 09:12 PM) I wish they replace Far Cry for Limelight Same here. Far cry is so-so compared to Limelight.
  11. 1. The lyrics are thoughtful and intelligent. 2. The music fits the story well. It rocks when it needs to rock, and is appropriately melodious at times. In short it keeps your interest from start to finish. 3. Nothing wrong with some good nerd rock!
  12. All in all I think it is a superb album and one that exceeded my expectations. I love how it is not like any other album. It is in my top three for sure. Caravan 8/10 BU2B 8/10, the new intro made it even better. Clockwork Angels 10/10 The Anarchist 8/10 Carnies 8/10 Halo Effect 9/10 Seven Cities of Gold 10/10 The Wreckers 8/10 Headlong Flight 10/10 BU2B2 1/10, not quite sure why this song was needed. It's kind of a downer. I would much rather have had a rockin' or soulful instrumental. Wish Them Well 8/10 The Garden 10/10-Simply outstanding.
  13. The Seeker, but Summertime Blues is a close second. I can't believe For What It's Worth is so low though. Their version is WAAAAAAY better than the original.
  14. Up until The Time Machine Tour I would have said The Pass was the best song on the album, but seeing Presto played live I have a new appreciation for it. That was one of the best songs of the concert. You could tell they were having fun with this one.
  15. This is one of my top five albums so picking the best song was hard. The nod went to Force Ten by a whisker over TSS, Turn The Page, Mission, and Lock and Key.
