  1. Being the only person at work with a different shift than everybody else. I get Wednesday and Sunday off. Everybody else gets Sat/Sun or Sun/Mon. Monday is a holiday, so my boss came up us at closing today and said he's closing the shop on Saturday. That'll make four days off this week, and I'll only get paid for one, thus missing a day on my cheque.
  2. If you are having a pretty good day and a few pounds overweight, do not try on clothes unless you absolutely have to. Your spirit may instantly disappear as mine did... :scared:

Not fitting into new clothes I’m trying on doesn’t bother me. Not fitting into my usual everyday clothes might bother me a little though, especially if it’s some article of clothing I particularly like.

Realizing you've gone up a waist size after being the same size for 10 years is a little bothersome.

  3. Theories:

    1. This is a very cruel april fools joke, which seems very out of character for Rush

    2. this is the Hemisphere's 40th remaster announcement, with blue vinyl...but they've been saving these remasters for November over the past two years...

    3. And I really am not sure I even want to let myself hope for this... but there is a slim chance this is a new album announcement... very slim... why would they be so secretive about it though... and act like in recent interviews that there are no future plans...?

    4. No it's not a tour announcement. I refuse to believe that. Case closed.

I have no idea, and I'm very concerned.

Why are you "very concerned"? If a parent was gravely ill, I'd get that but this is a band who doesn't know you from Adam (or Steve). I think this is a great place for Occam's Razor and figure it's probably got something to do with Hemispheres.

Well, that's a bit of overdramatisation on my part. I just really don't want to get my hopes up here for something it might not be.

Understood. I'd say then, just figure it's a nothing burger and when it turns out to be a new album with 50 city tour of the world, you'll be pleasantly surprised. :D

If this happens, I'd end up hospitalized, due to the shock on my heart

  4. I've only seen the Rush ones. Are they this positive about everything they review? Loving their enthusiasm for TSOR!

NO they are not positive on every one. They show an apprecitiation for the effort, but have no problem in saying if the song doesn't make their playlist. See Dream Theater

    Also Slayer

  5. I haven't seen Metallica since the '98 Reload Tour, but then again they've been pretty scarce around KC. I wasn't about to drive 8 hours round trip last year to STL to hear Lars NOT play double-bass. But, I gotta go this time. But WTF??!!! I seriously have to lay down money A FULL YEAR before they come here? Tix go on sale 3/2/18 and they play KC 3/6/19! The chrome plated balls on those f***s.

For those of you that don't get Metallica--particularly their first 4 albums...you are mental midgets.

I bought tickets for Roger Waters on October 21st 2016, for his show October 28th 2017. I agree, anything longer than six months is a long time to wait for a concert.

  6.

    No Western Canada shows :(

And by that I mean BC, Alberta. No way I'm travelling to Saskatoon or Winnipeg

Last summer they did a stadium tour that hit a lot of the bigger markets. Did they play anything in Western Canada last year? If they did then that's probably why there's no dates for you or in the bay area (Earl brought that one up). This tour is hitting a lot of the secondary cities they haven't been to in a long time.

Yes they played Vancouver and Edmonton last year, and I saw the Edmonton show. Would love to see them again.

  7. I never even heard of Sabaton but i already know Ian's better

    Mick

Such a strange poll to create. I think Segue and I are the only Sabaton fans on here.

i'm gonna play some so as not to be dumb heree but.....it's still gonna be Gillan, lol

    Mick

Sabaton's songs are very catchy but they are a one dimensional band. Check out the song To Hell And Back.
