I've kind of accepted they're not coming back to England. In all those recent Classic Rock and other magazine interviews, Geddy pretty much admits Neil doesn't want more shows after these dates are over. If it happens and they do tour here then great but its looking very unlikely now. :(

I had hoped to see one of the reunion shows as I've never seen them live, but you're right, I watched the concert footage and wasn't impressed at all! I think Genesis were going through the motions and weren't really interested tbh.. Wish I could have seen them in the 70's and 80's though..

I've tried my best for front row but the first few rows always seem to disappear right after they go sale, then panic sets in cos you don't want to miss out. I suppose I've been lucky with the tickets I did get...Row 6 in front of Alex for Clockwork, Row 7 in front of Geddy for Snakes and Arrows, then the other two shows, R30 and Time Machine tour not so lucky as I could only get half way back and even further. I was shocked that it was Ticketmaster selling tickets at those prices though, but I think they're hoping people buy them with the possibility that this is the last tour.

I travelled to Birmingham for the R30 show and that was sold out, then Rush added a second night at Birmingham a week later and that sold out too! The ticket price was £35 which was excellent for a three hour show. I then went to Newcastle twice to see the Snakes and Arrows tour and Time Machine Tour, both pretty full halls and the ticket prices were £45 and £55, again excellent prices for the show we got. I just checked my ticket stubs for Clockwork Angels at Sheffield and they were £75...which then went up to about £83 after handling fees etc. So it was a jump up in price, but every show I've seen I've left the venue saying that was better than last time and well worth the money. Saying that, the venue had about 7,500 out of 10,000 there, so the ticket prices may have put people off? If they decide to tour over here again and the ticket price goes up, I'd definitely buy but I can understand why people might not as they are expensive. Some of the prices in America are crazy, over $3,000 for front row!? I'd kill for front row seats but those prices are ripping fans off big style.

I'm just worried if they do come over, they'll only play maybe two nights at the 02 Arena in London and everyone will be fighting for tickets, like Genesis did back in 2007. They announced a UK tour of only two nights! I didn't get a ticket...

I hope so, it would be odd if they were to only play 34 dates then finish the tour all together, especially with it being an anniversary tour. I do think though if we get a European leg it'll be the last tour over here.

Just been reading the RIAB website and noticed this... 'The release also doesn't mention plans for a European tour, and unfortunately for our friends across the pond - the rumour is that there won't be any European leg for this tour, although nothing has been confirmed yet.' :|

Had a fantastic night! Thought the new songs were brilliant live, with The Anarchist standing out. I'd heard that Sheffield was a bad venue for sound but last night was spot on, even the orchestra were great. The audience never stopped singing all night and think even Geddy remarked at the end how much they enjoyed it. Soooo close to catching a t-shirt at the encore but missed by fingertips...maybe next time... Said this at the interval, looks like that day's rest in-between gigs is working. I don't know how they're still performing like that at this stage of their career, each tour they just seem to get better and better!

Listening to the title track all the time! It's definitely my favourite off the album! Can't wait to hear this live next year!!!

When I ordered it from Classic Rock it said it would be released on June 11th...

1) The Enemy Within (4/5) 2) A Farewell to Kings (0/5) 3) Red Lenses (2/5) I don't think AFTK will EVER be played live again unfortunately! I do think TEW could be at some point though. They're all great songs which deserve some stage time.

I enjoyed Limelight as the opener on S&A tour but would love to hear The Big Money live!

Hi First time poster! Managed to get tickets in Block A, Row 6 at Sheffield Arena! Shame there's no gig at Newcastle but I'm not complaining! Maybe a little about ticket prices though!?
