  2. The general audience or true fan audience? Are the "true fans" the ones who want to hear the never-been or hardly-ever-been played live obscure songs??? Then I gets 30 show since Signals 1983 doesn't make me fan because I want to hear the epics, the classics, the hard rock 70's, bitchin' 80's, and... some Clockwork.
  3. No spinning drumset = no Red Sector Lenses Mystic Rhythms, Between the Shmeels... Good. Rock it hard to L.A.
  4. Sounds like they're playing the hits and audience favorites, the songs that "connected" as NP said. No deep cuts. The song we who have been with them for 30-40 years want to hear. Fly By Night. - By-Tor and the Snow Dog Bastille Day - Xanadu - The Trees - La Villa Just play a mix of All the Worlds a Stage and Exit...Stage Left. With some later classics and Clockwork thrown in.
  5. You're probably locked out for hitting refresh too many times or using two computers from the same IP. Happened to me for the first time today. Lasts 24 hours.
  6. I couldn't get any tickets this morning, so I figured I'd try later today. No dice. I'm locked out. I guess I hit refresh too many times or had too many windows open. I'm blocked for 24 hours. Ticketmaster screws a fan outta tickets.
  7. Swapping out Working Man for Fountain of Lamneth would be insanely cool. Swapping out a Classic for one no one likes, not even RUSH??? Cool?
  8. It was VIP tickets that went on sale that day. Look at this way, you could pay 100.00 and sit right next to or behind a VIP sucker.
  9. That's a shit load of rehearsal. Just play the good songs - Xanadu in its entirety
  10. Rush has pretty much told us with the Tour Poster.... all great roads must come to an end -- and the great American highway ends in Santa Monica, CA. http://www.rush.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/post_feature.jpg
  11. I see a lot of people are pulling for the Fear Trilogy. I haven't heard Enemy Within live in a long time.
  12. Neither my Signals Tour Shirt or GuP fit anymore.
  13. I like hearing this -- I'm pushing my buddies from '84 to do a meet up in L.A. Only one of us still lives there. Myself and other two would have to fly in from the Midwest and East. It would be a great way to say good buy and thanks to the band.
  14. I agree, I want to remember as being at the top of their game, the Clockwork show was so amazing, I'm sure they can top it—they always do come up with some new things to keep it fresh.

  16. Interestingly enough, now I am going bald...
  17. Old School - 80's - Clockwork - evenly mixed.
  18. Intro - 3 Stooges ol' school intro with comedy video 1. The Spirit of Radio 2. Subdivisions 3. One Little Victory 4. The Enemy Within 5. The Weapon 6. Witch Hunt 7. The Anarchist 8. Test For Echo 9. Malignant Narcism w/ drum solo 10. The Trees 11. Jacobs Ladder 12. Tom Sawyer 13. Headlong Flight 14. Dreamline 15. Freewill 16. YYZ 17. Distant Early Warning 18. Far Cry 19. Closer To The Heart 20. Xanadu 20. 2112 - Overture and Temples 22. La Villa 23. Working Man - In The Mood 24. Vital Signs 25. Fly By Night Something about Vital Signs and a newer version of Fly By Night feels like a perfect end to a perfect career. Or if Geddy gets steroids shot into his throat, sing Limelight.
  19. And let me add--- http://talon-ps.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/QgpnH.gif
  20. No, no, no,……. Damn Job. Damn responsibilites. http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view5/2247352/temper-tantrum-o.gif
  21. You guys: http://images.sodahead.com/polls/003434369/images_answer_6_xlarge.jpeg Me: http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lt31vof9m41ql8i93o3_r1_250.gif And you know what happens next so let's not even go there. My point, I just would like to see them go out with class, with style. And not some tired trying to squeeze every last penny out of the fans. I don't mind this tour being a retrospective, but do it with the RUSH touch, similar to R30 without the covers. Or maybe one surprise cover, something we've never heard them play. A new version of Tom Sawyer, that harder version of Fly By Night Alex was musing about. Do something interesting and cool. Do something Rush. The last two tours blew me away. Both different and awesome in their own way. Just top that, take a bow and let us remember you as the band that never let us down. Speaking squeezing every penny out of the fans, the first concert I saw way back in 1982 was The Who… on their farewell tour…. Guess who is also touring this summer…. Just do it the way Rush would do it, not the way VanHalen, the Scorpions, the Who….and, oh god, Kiss have been doing it….
  22. They are finishing R40 at the first place I saw them way back in 1983. http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mLI6llOHj48bSJjacW7k_xw.jpg Say what you want about the venue, I don't care -- it's about seeing them one last time at the place I saw them first for me. Hopefully I can make the trip in Aug.
