Post YouTube vids from the tour here!
Time Traveler replied to Shreddy Lee's topic in On The Lighted Stage
What I've noticed, especially on Force Ten, is that a little more comfort and smoothness while they are playing. I think they are well into the touring mood and it will even get better than this. Hopefully Geddy can avoid vocal strain, too. -
Setlist Changes after 1st mini-break?
Time Traveler replied to dtpoet's topic in On The Lighted Stage
I am sure they tried rehearsing it...maybe they thought it would bring down the energy level?! The Garden is quieter, but the fans are loving it, to me it sounds even better live. I'd much rather hear Losing It than Far Cry. FC lost a lot audio clarity compared to the album version. -

I really love that 2-cam's Garden audio. Maybe that's the way to do it now, combine and/or sync videos from the same show, like the 6-cam Carnies. I'm looking forward to a few more multi-cams with the best audio! I'm wondering if one could combine audio feeds as well? -

QUOTE (O'Malley's Beat @ Sep 12 2012, 02:33 PM)One has to wonder if Geddy needs, for some reason, less time on the bass guitar. Maybe his aggressive playing style is catching up to him, and having more time on the keyboards will help him stay fresh thru the tour. And the song choices too may benefit his vocal ability over the long tour (with the relatively short winter break). At their age, they have to consider such things. Neil's three short solos as opposed to "the epic" solo he always delivers might be geared toward self-preservation (and sold under the guise of "doing things a bit differently"). And those are my two pence! I agree, good point! I'm one of those who like the fact have a fresh set list! And I love the Synth Period and like CA!

I Love It When Neil Clicks His Sticks On The Title
Time Traveler replied to RUSHHEAD666's topic in Rush
Ok, I've had the album for a few days now. I think the title track has become my favorite! When I saw someone posted about that clicking, I thought I'd agree as well, I really think that clicking was well-timed and creates a nice contrast with the big sound that follows. Love that clicking intro...and I thought it was just me! -
I agree with Prime Mover about cranking it too loud! It is a great album, much more hopeful in tone than what followed it. I had it in my CD player for MONTHS until I finally gave it a rest. SnA only lasted a few weeks, similar to T4E. Don't get me wrong, I'm still glad they made SnA & T4E, but they just don't get as much listening as VT, CP, and many other albums before it. We'll see how long CA lasts in my CD listening time...
