  1. Honestly I thought 7CoG was kinda boring live, but it's also one of my least favorites from CA. I'm glad they're keeping Carnies in the rotation though
  2. Pretty sure just the very top level was curtained off, which was the same at Auburn Hills. But I believe both the Palace and Nationwide have very large capacities (around 20,000?) so even though they were both around half full (including the empty sections behind the stage), that's still 10,000 people.
  3. It was a good show, except I had 4 giants standing in front of me and someone spilled beer on me but the boys were top notch as usual. Anyone know what this sign said? http://i.imgur.com/H8qlo.jpg
  4. Very nice pics! I got me some decent ones with my cell, that's all I need
  5. One last thing to add before this thread dies: Here's all the decent pics I took at the show last night http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4...=1&l=534181471e
  6. BTW, who was smoking weed on the floor? I could smell it during the entire second set and I could not figure out where it was coming from
  7. Also, I'd say the arena was about 3/4 full. Some people got their seats upgraded. My friends got an amazing deal; they bought the cheapest tickets and got their seats upgraded to section 102, which were the $90 tickets! I wasn't too much closer to the stage than they were. They lucked out big time
  8. QUOTE (usscarrera73 @ Sep 19 2012, 12:34 AM) No modifications, just wish they switched Working Man for Spirt of Radio, that would've gotten an already pumped crowed even more crazy Yeah I was a little disappointed with that, but the crowd was still fired up! Even during the CA material, people were loud, cheering and clapping, and I hardly saw anyone go for a pee break This crowd was at least 10x better than the crowd in Toledo last year. I loved every minute of it
  9. OMG what a great show!! I started out in row 21, switched with someone in row 20 (and ended up next to ladirushfan80 ), and slowly kept moving forward in the aisle and for the last 5-6 songs I was in row 8! My view was so good I couldn't believe it! I was singing along with every word, which impressed some of the boys next to me, and the crowd was energized like crazy! I can't wait to see them again on Thursday!
  10. We're on the road its starting to rain in SE Michigan hopefully it subsides soon!
  11. QUOTE (gangsterfurious @ Sep 15 2012, 09:43 PM) Steaming demons anybody?
  12. QUOTE (mjohnson30 @ Sep 18 2012, 12:19 PM) I'll be there, along with my 10 1/2 year old son attending his first concert ever. Can't wait. He'll love it! I'm in row 21 on the floor, I wish I was closer but I'm still pumped!!
  13. Play that Diane Sawyer song!
  14. T-minus 6 hours and 25 minutes until showtime!!! I'm expecting nothing but the best from our boys tonight, let's have fun everyone!
  15. From RIAB: *** SPOILER UPDATE 1 *** Reader wackostu is at the show and reports in the comments that the soundboard guy said that there would be another slight adjustment to the A setlist. Apparently they'll be swapping out Working Man with The Spirit of Radio to close out the second set. The Spirit of Radio had been played as part of the encore on opening night, but not since. There was no setlist photo to support this, so we'll just have to wait and see for verification. I'm okay with this
  16. I've got that feeling and my show's three days away!
  17. I wore my Rush shirt the other night and my friend scolded me because her dad is a huge fan and he's always wearing the same shirt I have. She's sick of hearing about them
  18. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 11 2012, 11:35 PM) I suppose your talking about the cheery beginning? Yes. The Wreckers is all about thinking you know everything in life, until something shows you you don't. The "Wreckers" in history were pirates that would set up fake lighthouses to lure in ships, only for them to crash upon the shore they could not see, while the Pirates looted the ship and went on their merry way. I asked my history teacher about it, interesting stuff. That's all what this song is about. Thinking you know the path in life, until something comes and messes it all up. Such a fantastic song. http://cdn2.mamapop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/themoreyouknow.jpg Interesting little tidbit. I thought it was something Neil made up to go along with the story, I didn't know it had some actual history behind it
  19. Show some more love people! http://i.imgur.com/8FE29.jpg
  20. Yeah you're right! Better sell my tickets ASAP!
  21. As long as I get to see my Middletown Dreams I'll be alright
  22. Some kids should never be allowed on the internet I remember seeing a pic of sonic/beherit/bathory and it's obvious why he hides behind his computer and trolls/talks shit 24/7
  23. QUOTE (gangsterfurious @ Sep 11 2012, 01:10 PM) QUOTE (Karena @ Sep 11 2012, 10:06 AM) Good for him. He looks great. Women put in the effort to look good, guys can do it too. Now if we can just get Geddy back into those tight jeans. It looks like somebody might have heard you. http://www.rushshowphotos.com/Rush2012/Bri...10186&k=rznFknb (don't look down, don't look down) I almost feel dirty looking at that. Almost.
  24. 7CoG "wake to aching cold in a deep Sahara of snow" I always hear "wakey wakey!" Also "wandering anus" earlier in the song
