  1. Courtney Barnett is awesome! Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit is probably my favorite album of 2015. Just got tickets to see her in Chicago in April, can't wait! Here are some other bands I really like that put out a new album this year: Alabama Shakes Beirut The Dead Weather Death Cab for Cutie The Decemberists Father John Misty Jim O'Rourke Kurt Vile Mac DeMarco Martin Courtney My Morning Jacket Natalie Prass Silversun Pickups Sufjan Stevens Tame Impala Wilco
  2. I'm selling two tickets in the center floor section, 18th row. These are for the first show on Wednesday, the 17th. These are hard tickets. I'm still going and can give you the tickets before the show. Just asking for face, which was about $160 USD each. Let me know if you're interested.
  3. Looks like I'll finally get to see Paul McCartney at Lollapalooza on July 31st!
  4. Fleetwood Mac - this Saturday! The Decemberists - March 27th Death Cab for Cutie - April 30th
  5. I've always looked up set lists in advance, not just for Rush but for all concerts. Since I will be going to opening night in Tulsa, this will be the first time I will not know the set list ahead of time. I'm actually really looking forward to the surprise!
  6. I saw promotional banners for the tour at the United Center the other day that said "An Evening with Rush". So I doubt there will be an opener.
  7. Public on sales started last Friday for the following: New York City, Newark, Tulsa, St. Paul, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Bristow, Buffalo, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Denver and San Jose. I think the remaining shows go on sale to the public this Friday.
  8. I stand by my prediction that around three weeks to the show, more tickets will be made available. Of course my prediction has no warranty or guarantee of any kind. This happened to me during the clockwork angels tour. I was able to get in the 4th row on the floor one week before the Cleveland show. Also, at Summerfest on the day of the show, I checked with the box office to see what was available about two hours before the concert. There were several close seats available within the first 10 rows.
  9. I was on the minute they went on sale, it showed no gold packages were available, but I kept trying. Finally got 5th row after 20 minutes. This was for the Friday show.
  10. I think this would be pretty realistic: Dreamline Animate Turn the Page New World Man Vapor Trail The Anarchist The Trees Bytor Prime Mover Red Barchetta The Spirit of Radio Freewill Jacobs Ladder Entre Nous Guitar solo Different Strings Natural Science Drum solo Lock and Key Limelight Subdivisions War Paint Cut to the Chase La Villa Tom Sawyer Far Cry Headlong Flight In the Mood
  11. If no tickets come up the minute they go on sale, keep trying. Last week, it took about 10 minutes of trying before I was able to get gold tickets, but finally ended up with great seats. Good luck!
  12. It was definitely a frustrating process this year for VIP tickets. For the first few tries it showed no seats were available. This was within the first minute tickets went on sale. After about 15 minutes, I ended up with 3rd row in Tulsa, and 4th row in Chicago.
  13. Wondering the same thing. Rush.com says presale codes will be sent to newsletter subscribers, but I haven't seen anything yet.
