  1. Seven Cities of Gold is kick ass. There are some similarities with Virtuality musically but there is no comparison to the awesomeness that is SCOG.
  2. I love this album as much as I love Power Windows. I'm not pretending. Some might disagree but I think CA is a powerful work by a band that has been together for 38 years, which is extremely remarkable and rare. But, then again, maybe I just like shit.
  3. It sucks even worse for me, it's a 20 minute drive to work. That's pretty much Caravan - The Anarchist.
  4. I like VT and S&A but I LOVE Clockwork Angels.
  5. I just love how swings. Geddys bass, Neils cow bell and incredible drumming, Alexs insane noodling in to another incredible riff, it definitely has a 70s feel.
  6. The title track is a lot to soak in but once it does, it's a hellava ride!
  7. While driving home after picking up dinner last night, I saw a truck hauling a funnel cake stand that you see at fairs. Threw on Carnies instantly.
  8. After hearing this album and going back to listen to S&A, there are some very good songs on S&A but there aren't any EPICS like CA has. The title track, The Anarchist, Headlong Flight, Seven Cities of Gold, The Garden; those are epics. I also like that most of the songs on CA melt my face off.
  9. I'm telling you there are no duds on this album. Even the weaker Wish Them Well is awesome especially with it's message.
  10. Goosebumps on goosebumps with Clockwork Angels. Started out as an Alex soundscape. Incredible.
  11. Playing the single version of BU2B as well.
  12. Eddie Trunk said it had a Red Barchetta vibe when he played on his show last night. I agree wholeheartedly.
  13. In-N-Out burger is on my bucket list since I'm all the way in Ohio. Have to have an excuse to make it out west to go there. I think it's hilarious that he added that.
  14. QUOTE (Nate1647 @ Jun 8 2012, 08:41 PM) I honestly feel like this is a blend between ALL of their albums. THE rush album to own in my opinion. We finally have a NEW rush album that i wouldn't be afraid to show a first time listener! Exactly how I feel.
  15. CA is so different from any other album Rush has made since Moving Pictures. This is a true progressive rock album. It's not just a collection of songs. And they are all well made despite some opinions regarding some of the songs. I truly believe this album will be loved for years to come.
  16. Does like both sides (including Halo Effect and Wish Them Well) count?
  17. To add, I am glad Alex has a solo on almost every track.
  18. All of Big Al's solos are great, but The Garden goes right to the heart.
  19. QUOTE (ArrowSnake @ Jun 7 2012, 02:04 PM) All I know is Headlong Flight kicks ass! The entire album kicks ass!
  20. The Wreckers should be the next single. For me, it's the new Subdivisions.
